Hips open all the time
I don’t understand the hula hoop analogy, I’ve heard this a couple times
To describe the swing plane of the bathead, if we are swinging slightly up from level, it is a "straight line" when viewed from the side but when viewed from above it is circular / rotational and looks like a hula hoop is around the hitters body with the bathead following it.
I need this type of swing analysis. I used to play baseball but this is my first season playing slowpitch. I’m having trouble putting everything together barely hitting 280-300’ on a good day. Where do you guys do this class? I’m in Savannah GA. Do you guys do virtual swing analysis?
[email protected] for info thanks! -Bret VB
Jesus. You can hit the shit out of the ball. I picked up the 2021 Nihilist USA ASA. Thanks for the review.
Juggy ovl or this bat ?
Nihilist or Flipper..any year will be better with 52 cor balls than the Overlord..if you playing 44 375 asa, then the overlord is very good.
That's a man playing against boys.
Good luck, it helped me too!
Good looking bat, can't wait to get our hands on one of these! Good showing!
Oh man such a sweet bat can't wait for mine
Isn't this an under snap?
Helmer has / had a great oversnap swing and is one of my favorite swings of all time....cuts thru the ball on a straight line......hard to see from this angle. This is a horrible angle to try and see mechanics but it was actually "cool" and unique back in 2009 ha. Now i could do without it. -Bret VB
@@SWINGMAKEOVER maybe I misunderstand then. I remember seeing a video on your page that talked about the difference but can't find it anymore. What is the difference? Just recently turned my tournament team onto your channel, it's amazing.
Bat head over planr of lead arm..means hitter didnt just drag bat head..arm ext n snap
What do you think is the shelf life on this bat? And do you think it can sustain 44 core balls? My previous bat miken freak mf20ma broke on me twice now looking for the best durable bat possible
Good for breaking the bat in but then you want to shy away from hard balls. -Bret
Would 44 COR balls hurt this bat?
Good for breaking it in. Once it is game ready (which only took me 25 - 50 swings with Evil BP balls) I would stick with low compression or just keep it in the batbag. Break-in time will vary.
Does this have an endload feel or is it balanced? I'm debating over this or the TPS Cuz.
You cannot go wrong with either. The CUZ has an extra 0.5 oz endload, but neither of them feel extremely endloaded to me -Bret. Nihilist similar feel to the Flipper weights
Nihilist ?... nice name.... The next model could be the Clueless Trump Supporter bat
Citizen Cyclops Economy through the roof, illegal immigration down, ISIS on the run, putting American interests first...sounds like a lot of cluelessness *sighs
Looking for one at a good deal let me know.
We dont sell but contact Paul Stanley or Paul Sadler on facebook..they can hook you up..good luck!
Have you hit the ASA Nhilist? Thoughts? Is Demarini making a 12’ bat then to replace the USA Flipper?
This is the ASA. Haven't heard anything on a 12" barrel, I always preferred the 13" Flipper anyways -Bret
What’s the break in time?? I’ve been swinging a Z3000 30oz end load for years, thinking it’s almost time to get something new. I don’t play a ton, so I’d like something fairly hot out of the wrapper.
youd like it or buy a flipper..break in quick on both..30oz..your a beast lol
Ken Van Bogaert thanks! I’ll look into one!! 6’3” 290, been swinging 30’s for years! Lol
Awesome info and great review
Can you talk about timing? When to start, how to track the ball, what triggers do you use? Thanks Bret and Bogie
will get in an episode upcoming .thanks
Haha!! That’s great!!
Dude ur an amazing teacher bless u brother
Anyone know where i can buy that swing simulator been looking for it??
Www.sportstechnique.com..under training tools
Hey man, just wanted to say I LOVE your videos. They REALLY helped me visualize what my veteran teammates have been trying to tell me. But I do have a question. What tee do you use? I've been shopping around for a good slowpitch tee that you can set up high but all I'm finding are the traditional baseball tees. Thanks!
thanks! thegtee.com We love the G-Tee and they do not tip over. No more tee on top of a 5 gallon pail ha. If you call them direct they will give you a Swing Makeover discount...they are around 90-100$ but worth it.
How can I go about sending you my video for analysis? Is that even possible?
All details at www.sportstechnique.com..thanks
Great job Bret
How can I get a slide tube?
easy to make one, but these guys used to have a link in other videos that they have produced for a ready made purchase unit...
Go to their website, sportstechnique.com. It’s the link in their description
Hey thanks man I hope I can apply this on my next game. In off an on when it comes to hitting idk maybe I need a routine to be more consistent when I got to the plate instead of just swinging. Any suggestions?
Amazing!
How much corn do you plant?
around 600 corn and soybeans
Gotta love WI weather don't ya?
keep it up dave!!
great video . .keep them coming . .enjoy all of them
I have the same swing! I rely to much on my upper body.but When I actually use my lower half and have the right angle I hit great but that's all to rare!
He's been doing this for quite some time now...... Seems to work for him, to each his own!!
You don't have to move so much. I've crushed softballs with steady mechaniques. These guys think that tucking in your leg will genaerate more torque. it's the hipps, not the legs
theres is so much movement with the bat hands, when i try to do this i cant swing the bat straight across..
Imu it takes some time to learn how to control that bat man. But it does help you hit it harder and farther just like Helmer says. Just takes some time to learn how to put the ball all over the field
