oh how i wish i would see the brave mongooses more often! Even more, i wish i could film them more often, but these little rascals know to show up and entertain me with their antics exactly when i have no camera at hand. They are indeed supercool and comical, playful and fierce. There are several of them roaming the fields of my landlord, playing hide and seek among kale and lemongrass and around palm trunks. My landlord told me yesterday that he had seen one in our front garden, near the Buddha the day before. i wish i could see them there too!!! And i wish i could be friends with them and keep them as free-running pets. And i also wish i could keep some peacocks... Yes please keep your fingers crossed for more mongoose encounters and some dry spells, which would make them easier. Monsoon rains have set in... Hallo Tino! Haha, Danke. Ich auch Nichttaenzer, schaffe hoechstens ein bisschen stehen und mit den Armen wedeln. Wie eine Palme eben. Die Yogastellung "Palme" bekomme ich auch noch gut hin. Ansonsten besteht meine Liebe fuer Palmen hauptsaechlich aus Druntersitzen und Wachtraeumen, Bewohner der Loecher in den Staemmen beobachten, sowie Kokosnuesse entsorgen. Bestes Fruehstueck wo gibt! Ich hoffe, du kannst auch einen schoenen Sommer geniessen! Beste Gruesse💖Ma

Danke vielmals, Helli! Bei uns ist seit letztem Monat die Monsunzeit angebrochen. Hierzu ein Zitat aus dem Netz: "75 Prozent der jährlichen Niederschläge in Indien fallen zwischen den Monaten Juni und September. Insbesondere das Himalaya-Gebirge, das Indien gen Norden hin abschirmt, sorgt dafür, dass die Monsunwolken sich dort besonders intensiv abregnen. Während des Sommermonsuns kommt der Wind aus Südwesten." Kann ich nur bestaetigen. Der Suedwestwind zaust mir die Haare und haut mir den Regen direkt ins Freiluftwohnzimmer. Und wenn ich die Fenster nicht rechtzeitig schliesse, auch in Bett, Buero und Kueche. Aber dafuer spar ich mir das Blumen- und Gartengiessen. Zwischendurch scheint immer mal ein bisschen Sonne, morgens bewegt sich die Temperatur so um 20 Grad rum, tagsueber bis zu 28. Pudelwohlfuehlwetter fuer Ma. Und Hund. Ich hoffe, du hast es auch angenehm!! Beste Gruesse💖Ma

So glad to share my joy with you! Yes, my noble landlord has kindly responded to my suggestion of having a lilypond, and he added a lot of fish too. Thus, we can also enjoy the company of pondherons and kingfishers😆Recently i was so lucky to get two real Lotus plants (Nelumbo nucifera) at my favorite plant nursery and my dear landlord immediately had a separate little pond created for them. i love those flowers and can spend hours just sitting and looking at them in silent contemplation.
