Good work remember stay consistent
Can you please let me know which software you used?
❤ how does this not have a hundred comments? Way to go girl. You're a champion. What year was this?
So the main reason he was going at an angle and almost horizontal to the bar at the end of the vault was because he didn’t kick up soon enough? I’m curious because my son does this same thing
im curious too
What a beast!! Great Video.
You did it by making a highlight montage?
Where is the rest of this video? I would like to watch the rest of it
i live in mobile as well and never heard a thing about it either!!
That always scares me how hi it is when they do this. They need more of this downtown.

Hi Tim I am an ex Australian pole vaulter who trained with Don Baird and knew him fairly well. Unfortunately he does not feature in your video . He was left handed for a start and the guys on this video have much more hair.
I like the idea of the rack as a tool to help younger weaker athletes to learn proper swing mechanics. just last week i tried to have athletes do swing drills and none of them could accomplish the basic ones. cool tool
The Pole Vault Swing Up Rack is also used to improve the technique, body awareness, and inverted balance in Elite Athletes at the US Olympic Training Center, Major Pole Vault Universities, Pole Vault Clubs AROUND THE WORLD!
you still coaching?
I just saw this. How you doing Jeff? I'm still coaching. Find me on Facebook at Advantage Athletics and/or Instagram @polevaults [email protected] I jjust posted this video and some of the vaulters responded. I know they'd like to hear from you
I used this pole vault swing up rack and it gave me the confidence I needed to move forward with my pole vaulting. People have told me I have improved vary fast. Thanks for this video. Joe Joe
Rhett Streelman, As a freshman personal record of 3.35m (just under 11') in the pole vault at Westmont College you should be training on the Pole Vault Swing Up Rack.
Rhett, You said, "It's the same movement and feeling". How do you know. You haven't tried it. The first high school boy to train on it pole vaulted 17'. The first high school girl that trained on it pole vaulted 13' 3/4" I'll let the results speak. There's a reason for the pole vaulters training on it at the Olympic Training Center.
Im sorry but why do you need to pay $395 this, honestly you can do this drill almost exactly the same without this device. It's the same movement and feeling without this product in my opinion.
Tell that to the Coach of the Year from the Pole Vault Summit who uses it every day.
You cannot say that without ever trying the Pole Vault Swing Up Rack. Kris Allison like many other Elite Pole Vault Coaches have changed their minds as soon as they tried it or saw in person athletes training on the Swing Up Rack. instagram.com/p/BkMH-hNFDsV/?taken-by=polevaults Lone Star Former Elite Pole Vaulter and Now Elite Pole Vault Coach @allison.kris tried the Swing Up Rack at the Port Aransas Beach Vault. His response was priceless, "Felt like I had 20lb ankle weights on. I can hang on a high bar and lever upside down with no swing in half the time it took on the rack." Hey Tim; Long time. Just found your site. My name is Jeffery Ferguson. I competed for CSULA. The first vaulter in your clip is me and the black vaulter is Keith "lightning" Adams (we were team mates). Thanks for posting this. I don't have any film from those days and it's a real treat to finally see one. I stumbled onto your site because i'm thinking about trying some Masters competition as motivation to get into shape. (Early stages.) Haven't touched a pole in about 30 years. My main goal is not to get hurt. Thanks again, Jeff
wow! they are excellent vaulters and they have amazing form! great job coach!
Sure glad to see that 37Gerrys has "corrected the record" here and given credit to Yale's 1997 Track and Field captain, Jesse Stern. Jesse holds both the outdoor record (17'4.75") and indoor record (16'10.75") at Yale. Man, oh, man - still gotta check everything that Tim says! :-) Brian Patrick Clarke (12/24/12)
jeese stern outdoor pole vault record at Yale is:: Pole Vault. Jesse Stern. 1997 17-04.75
