  Cutie patooties!!!! I feed some beautiful raccoons/skunks/possums (love 'em all!) - and I tell the raccoons I like their masks, and ask where they got them. :) I might have to get them some of these cookies. Good idea-thank you and thank you for sharing these sweet BBs with us. <3

  Yes, out of all the raccoons I have, I limit the cookies I give every night. They get one-time feeding of dog food. Even though they come back all night looking for more. I never give them enough, so it doesn't take away from their natural diet. I couldn't afford it anyway..😢. the opossums always get what little leftovers I have, if any, every night and a few cookies.. it's just like giving them some breakfast. And I get to enjoy something every night..😊

  I've been doing it for 5 years now. I always wanted to but couldn't until I retired.. they bring so much joy, and every night, I can't wait until I see my first raccoon. In the beginning, I sat outside for hrs and hrs until they started trusting me.. now as long as I got cookies, they love me..lol

  I've been feeding them for 4 Years, and they trust me.. so maybe it is a good sound to make.. raccoons r very intelligent animals. I believe they would know the difference between a human and a squirrel.

  I'm glad you feed them. I do too. They all ate well in this cold snap. I feed the squirrels and birds but someone must be killing the racoons around here. I live in the boonies and they haven't been coming around which is not normal. @@ginger7741

  Me, my wife and our 2 children had to get rabies shots after I brought home 2 baby coons from a pest control job.. One of the coon showed signs of illness after 2 weeks of handling.. In a panic I called my CO to confess I had the coon.. Long story short,, the health department called me at work and threatened me with arrest if we all didn't go to the hospital where they were waiting.. Depends on your weight to how many shots you get.. If you have ever had a tetanus shot,,, you need to increase that pain by at least 5 times.. MOST PAINFUL SHOTS IV EVER ENDURED.. MY POOR CHILDREN.. PLEASE BE CAREFUL.. ONE NIP AND YOUR LIFE WILL CHANGE . NO CURE FOR RABIES !!!! good luck...
