What is the rocket science here? Drop the magazine and pull back the slide and then inspect breech, once visible that is clear point at ground and press trigger

I highly recommend this book. I couldn't participate in the zoom meeting due to a severe lightening storm during which I had to unplug my modem (my sig other depends on it for her work.) I'm now on the last few pages. It's a great read.

Good safety video. You just pointed out the reasons I prefer a gun with safeties- such as a revolver (double action trigger), a 1911 (grip and thumb safeties'), CZ75B (double action/single action trigger with a decocker) or S&W 3rd Generation (double action/single action, with a decocker). Striker fired guns with no external safety rely entirely upon a specially designed holster for safe carry. The absence of an external hammer does not allow the thumb to be placed under the hammer while re-holstering and has recently resulted in people shooting themselves in their private parts. 9mm Vasectomy.

I have the exact same shotgun in 12 gauge..Ithaca Model 37 'Basic' model manufactured in 1980. Bought it brand new in 1982. I had a 'Polychoke' adjustable choke added to it other than that it is as purchased. Very excellent well made sturdy shotgun. Not real fancy looking but the satin finish on the wood and parkerized finish on the metal parts don't have to worry about minor dings and scratches like you would with a fancier finish. The gun has never let me down I'll taken much game with it from small game to deer.

lately I've been fan girling over this exact shotgun because i learned what the stock shotgun from team fortress 2 is based off of. short barrel with no stock. played alot of that game so its fun to see it IRL. 0:59 not kidding and i know its dangerous to handle a weapon like that. but thats a firing position i wondered about lol maybe one day i'll get a chance to fire it. only gun i've fired in my life was clay pigeon shooting with an over and under italian shotgun at a range in ireland. scariest part was how sometimes it would strike the shotgun shell....be delayed a moment....THEN fire. but the surge of just excitement hitting a clay pigeon. phew. that was exhilarating

One little rarely realized fact about Ithaca M37 & M87 shotguns. You can feel with your finger through the loading port, if the hammer is forward using tip of your finger. Hence eased hammer spring for long term storage. This does not apply to the smaller frame, newer 28 gauge unfortuneately. You cannot feel the eased forward internal hammer in this gauge only.Trivia.

Old thread I know.. but since this is one of the few vids on the Stakeout version.... I have a late 70's version (no slam fire) that- despite everyone saying to the contrary- is MORE comfortable to shoot than the Shockwave.. Even though it weighs much less... Fun gun- mine has an exceptional parkerized finish..

A topic to touch on would be packing your gun case and luggage based on the state you're flying into. The TSA says that it's okay to have loaded magazines in the hard case with your firearm but in Maryland having a loaded magazine in the same container as the firearm is considered a loaded firearm and could get you arrested.

Getting a CMP Garand is easy and fun. There is no reason for someone who loves history and shooting and has a little money saved away not to get one. Good info and video. Thank you for showing the world that "Liberal" does not have to be a dirty word. We need to take back the term and return it to it's classic use.

I've realized that watching Deviant Ollam talk about his leftist, socialist, Marxist, antifa, beliefs is like watching the proverbial "train wreck." It's a fun way to understand the mental issues they have and their twisted view of the world. "Cascadia" symbol, believer in BLM riots, on and on. Thanks for the entertainment. Look at the LGC "values:" "Raising the minimum wage and increasing the Earned Income Tax Credit" - they want to increase taxes to pay for this "Universal Health Care" - they want to increase taxes to pay for this "strengthening the middle class" - they want to increase taxes to pay for this

I'm glad a group like this was there to represent. I've been kind of turned off to gun show type events for years because whenever I go to one, it's chock full of far-right militia types and people who clearly have domestic terrorist leanings. There are very few voices in this country for people who are not either right wing 2A absolutists or ban-everything groups on the left.

I just wanted to drop in and say I'm glad there is an organization like this. Gun owners have all been branded as part of the far-right extremist movement in this country, and while there's a real truth to that stereotype, it doesn't fit all of us by any means. I learned of this groups specifically in a recent piece in the Isthmus newspaper in Madison which featured one of the local instructors there. I'm thinking of joining.

Here’s where they could be strong: Provide a list of mental health care professionals that are firearms friendly and aren’t gonna red flag you upon learning you own guns??? These survey and pamphlets already exist everywhere!!! Seriously I get their new but do better or wait until you can!!!

Love the Sirt system , but As a 20 year infantryman with hundreds of searches overseas with tac lights, I can say with confidence that the magazine light in this video is the dumbest idea I’ve ever seen. As soon as you see a threat and point the fucking barrel at it, you will loose sight of the fucking threat. How are you going to know what bad guy is doing if you can see him anymore. How the fuck are you going to be able to to know when to pull. This is a split second decision. 🤦🏻‍♂️

When you pump the first cartridge into the barrel, a spring sound comes from the magazine tube with the movement of the second cartridge in the magazine. does this happen to you too? I have a Remington 870 too. it doesn't happen there. thank you for the nice video.
