I don't support feminism due to it constantly complaining about the so called patriarchy, even though they make lots of money from it and also they do well within it more than men have nowadays. I'm not a feminist by any means. Mexico also has cartels doing it as well I wonder if that is counted as a femicide
Yes, no more is no more. Let's keep advocating in Nigeria for the domestication and implementation of the Maputo Protocol because ratification is not = to implementation Thank you @FisayoOwoyemi🙌🏾

This is a brilliant project. With such a project, women are empowered to participate in politics and fosters gender equality, inclusion of persons with disabilities. I feel this should be done in most African countries. Thank you FEMNET 👏

Amazing initiative for African women and girls .
FEMNET censoring free discussion will not help end the cutting but only prolong it.
What Femnet doesn't want you to know: The FGM narrative has been forged to make a false distinction with the harmful cultural practice of genital cutting depending on the gender of the victim. The real narrative has always been that it is done in order to brand the new generation as belonging to the community irrespective of gender, severity, creed or culture. It is time it is realised that the cutting of girls cannot be distinguished from that of boys as the two are parallel rituals and one cannot argue for the eradication of one without the other. It is obvuous to practicing communities that westerners interest is cultural imperialism, exchanging their cutting culture for African ones. If Westerners were genuinely concerned for human rights then they would address the cutting culture in their own communities first before campaigning in Africa. A harmful cultural practice should be fought against on the principle of the harm caused not on the gender of the victim. It is the attribute of being human that is central to human rights not gender and a small minority of victims of a harmful cultural practice should not be singled out for special attention at the expense of the majority. This is discrimination the antithesis of human rights and of a noble cause.

Daisy , i am abt to make a prediction: 1. The Maraga Ruling will be upheld. 2. Uhuru's hand will be forced and dissolve Parliament. 3. We will go into a by-election, with political parties fully compliant with the 2/3rds rule while fielding candidates. 4. The next hse will be compliant and will pass the appropriate legislation. 5. THEN - Articles of Impeachment will be passed against Pres.Uhuru. 6. Uhuru will go. 7. Ruto becomes Acting Pres. 8. Kenya will prepare for a general election. 9. Daisy - Your political stature will hit the stratosphere. 10.The Presidency will now be fair game. And everybody said....🙏💥💥🔥
Healing grace to Mildred in the name of Jesus!
AMEN!
Always inspiring listening to this bold daughter of Africa. I have learnt immensely from your counsel Daisy. Soar higher!
Wonderful!!
Ok! Diyar
Women's resilience is continually fragmented in crisis. They are severely bruised when pandemics strike. They carry the burden and bear the consequences. Like flowers they are bound to wilt in such precarious environments. Dignified and inclusive response in pandemics is critical in ensuring women bloom.....even in pandemics!
Unlocking value through women empowerment . Good job FEMNET
Rise & Roar.
We just need our mothers the black women in power to end money poverty and unite Africa.... power to our mothers party
Roaring!
Women make better leaders because they are maternal. Leadership is mainly about looking after people, feeding, sheltering and clothing them. A man has no clue in this area.
Fucking dumb comment
The man-hating is strong with these people
You should have a million thumbs up for that comment Have a great day
Younger generation are following
Wow
i do not think that women should be in leader ships in country's because when it comes to leader ship women can be weak on that just saying
All of the countries that follow that logic are war-torn or impoverished.
L O lol I know men a better leaders I agree 100%
@@Mr.House_ Sorry but God's image is both male and female and He also likened Himself to a NURSING MOTHER because it is those female traits that make Him LOVING. Did Jesus have issues with the Queen of Sheba? Did He feel that she shouldn't be in a position of power? Nope.
The woman who birthed you is wishing she had her periods instead of having you.
When women ask to be empowered and to be treated as human beings before they can be looked at as women; they are not asking for too much. They are asking for equal treatment as any other human being. Women in leadership are an inspiration to the aspiring woman. This Mini-Documentary brings the most outstanding women on the Continent to other women's disposal. Getting into these women's thoughts; having the privilege of sharing their wisdom is more than rewarding. Kudos FEMNET. My humble request though is to have this Documentary reproduced with subtitles in various languages tat speak to the different women on the continent.
I can't reproduce it but I will be happy to share it on social media. :)
Thank you all and the Lord God Almighty bless you all.
Give Thanks
Lagbara Olorun, pelu ifowosowopo gbogbowa lokunrin, lobirin asakasa yi a dopin. This is such an inspiration. Some weeks ago, I was talking to a doctor who climbed Kilimanjaro successfully and I was so interested, I didn't even know you could embark on such a trip for a worthy cause. Hope I can do this in the next 3-4 years. Women should know they are more than baby making punching bags and oppose cultures and norms that suggest or glorify that (Hope you see this Yoruwood). Well done Madam.
