Hello I am Allen Newberry. I am a Journeyman Smith in the American Bladesmith Society and a Forged In Fire Champion. But, I am also a Stay at Home Dad with other interests including Reptiles and Falconry.
I just saw some poeple use some white thing for molding then melt out the wax. Do you have any idea what is that white thing?

Thank you for your clear, practical method of inlaying. Also, a big thanks for pointing out problems that can occur. I only wish other presenters do this. Cheers!!

Why is inlay wire flat? What's the benefit over traditional round wire?
@herobalderАй бұрын
When i did some inlay work myself (amateur), flat wire made it way easier to hammer in/fit in the groove you cut. Round wire flattened on "top" of the groove, if that makes sense. Made it harder for it to actually inlay correctly.

Soooo excited to be making this today. I’m topping with pepperoni and mushrooms. & my order will be sausage, cheese, toooings, then sauce…that’s how they make the crustless pizzas at Lou Malnati’s in Chicago. I’ll also be using San marzano tomatoes for my sauce cause that’s what they used and it’s the only time I’ve enjoyed tomato that wasn’t completely liquified, lol
