    sorry for the late reply, as far as I remember that was the full stock cup set up. the 996 cup has a pretty decent muffler. on cold days we have had to put elbows on the push the exhaust to the passenger side to avoid the sound meeter

    How fast were you going around the final corner? I ask because at the Skip Barber school in a Crossle 32F, I hit the apex at 103 or 5200 revs on the final lap and was wondering what other cars could do. This was 1981.

    @@TravisBrodie Thanks. The most memorable thing about the weekend was sliding off the track after getting on marbles. The grass was high and as I got back up to speed a fire ant bit my neck. If it hadn’t been for the seat belt and shoulder straps I would have jumped out of the car.

    Hey man, thanks for the great review! Just one thing I am struggling to find feedback on, if I wanted to swap the wheel out for just the "working" setup (keyboard in front of me), how easy would that be on the Obutto? Is it easily done, or is it a struggle each time? I am pretty space confined, so I cannot have a desk AND a sim rig.

  • @TravisBrodie
    @TravisBrodie2 жыл бұрын

    sorry for the late reply.... The keyboard wings around on the swivel table, so you wouldn't have to take the wheel base off if you want to use it as a desk. On the Fanatec you can take the steering wheel off with the QD mount, but the wheel base stays bolted to the rig to give you a little more space. hope this helps. Updated video coming soon with some changes I've made to the rig.

  • @TravisBrodie

    Hi Travis, really great setup. Is it possible to mount one single 49" 21:9 curved monitor instead of the three others? • @TravisBrodie

    @@steffenlichtenwald6225 I don't know for sure since I never tried it, but all 4 of my monitors mount to the same monitor stand (its separate from the chassis) so the stand its self is more than capable and the mount joints can be tightened down pretty good, so I would think its possible

  • @TravisBrodie
    @TravisBrodie3 жыл бұрын

    For a sim rig I think it is great. As a desk replacement, I don't know, it can be a little wobbly and the fact that is swings out of the way means it never really stays still. I would have to "lock it down" a little better to use a mouse and keyboard all day long
