    Any issues with the 60” with this tractor over the long term?

    No issues with the tractor or the flail mower. The tractor handles it just fine. This year I mowed my lawn with it a few times and it does a phenomenal job with the Y grass knives. It's a blast to use because of how well it mows thick overgrown grasses. No annoying windrows and it's actually easier on the tractor than the finishing mower.

    @@2007ManualF150 appreciate the info. Looking to buy a 60”, I have b2301 I want to cut rye and wildflower with but was concerned about the PTO hp being lower then rated.

    @@tiggity2412 You won't have any issues, trust me. It is a lot easier on the tractor than a rotary mower. Also when you hit obstructions, the knives just move out of the way. Along with it being way safer than a bush hog because it keeps the debris contained, hence why they are used on highways.

    Why is the fluke meter testing 13.56 volts 6 V and the solar is in a 12.56 v approximately ?? The fluke meter is a certified meter so that tells me that the solar machine is out one Volt, which means everything will be out of speck.

    Did you end up running on a bigger tractor? Anything else you can share on experience? I am struggling because like the other responder the 62 inch falls outside of my Kubota LX2610. Hate to get the 54 as it is not as wide as the tire width of the unit. Just wondering what you might be running it on currently?

    I'm still running it on the BX2200. I was going to get a bigger machine, but life kind of went a bit sideways, then inflation hit. So not sure when I'll get a bigger machine. Looking at up sizing to a L3901. Still keeping the BX2200 because it's a great machine.

    I bought the FM-78 and I too was concerned about the quality. This thing is SOLID, I've been using it at my farm and it's a total delight...I really love using it! Looks like a very solid unit with quality design and thick metal. Yeah, it's made in China but to U.S. specs and the guys at Woodmaxx made certain it was built properly. Wish it was made here in America but you gotta go with what's available. Unbeatable for the price!!

    It's December 2019. I tried Panasonic's current Arc 5 & Arc 3. Put 'em both up against a cheap Remington I got at Walmart for less than $20. Got the same close shave from all three. Found out the price the foil replacements on the Arc 5 were $65. Remington's, $10. Took both Panasonics back and kept the Remington. Somethin' to keep in mind when shellin' out the big bucks on some of these things 😂😉

    This is the most reliable shaver I've ever had as well. It's been discontinued, but the nearly identical (and inexpensive) ES-RT51 is still available. As far as I can see, the only differences aside from cosmetic ones are that the newer model is slightly lighter and uses a different model charger/adaptor. Where I disagree with you is on using this shaver as a wet shaver. I have been using mine with water and shaving cream since I bought it in 2009 (for $46) and I've never had a problem, although the battery is almost worn out now. It probably wouldn't be a good idea to continue to use it with water after disassembling it and putting it back together, though. Useful video!

    Charles I have a JD 1025 and it has specs very similar to your BX2200. The Woodmax FM 62 looks to be just outside the specs of our tractors. How did the mower/tractor do in heavier cutting? Thanks

  • @2007ManualF150
    @2007ManualF1506 жыл бұрын

    It's on the borderline. I got this because I plan on getting a larger tractor in a year or so. I didn't want to get the 54" model and regret not getting the 62" or having to go through the troubles of selling it just to gain a few more inches. I am glad I got the 62", the BX2200 handles it fine for mowing lawns and mild grass cutting. I am extremely satisfied and the Woodmaxx company is an absolutely pleasure to deal with! However, I don't know about heavy brush... I leave that stuff for a rough cut rotary bush hog. I can say, when I let my lawn grow out, this machine can cut it without clumps or leaving windrows of unsightly grass -- it is amazing how finely it mulches grass. It's like a blender for grass!
