EF has a partner company called Go Ahead. They don’t have age limits and offer a lot of the same itineraries as Ultimate Break!

I have always rolled my clothes & then put them in my packing cubes. I can usually find more little pockets of space in them for more items that way.

Maybe the cubes made more over all luggage weight because you were able to pack a little more? not sure if you did.
No actually! I packed the same amount of clothes for both tests- and just ended up with extra space when using the cubes. That jacket you saw me put in there, I also put in the first time. I just never roll blazers so I folded it and put it on top!

Though I agree with everything you said as a plus size person, I always have to take into account that not every county can cater to my size (specially asian countries) So in this sense I always have to pack more to make sure I account for all weathers and situations. For skinnier people the advice you gave will work.
I never thought about this! I actually have a good friend who’s also plus sized and she’s always traveling with a carryon only. Maybe I’ll ask her to collaborate on a video so we can cater to a wider audience. I appreciate the feedback!

Your suggestion for e sim cards
I have T-Mobile so I typically buy an international data plan with them before I go. It’s a tad pricey but it’s convenient for me since all I have to do is just add it to my current plan. But I have friends that have used Airalo and say good things about it. I found this blog post that’s really helpful at describing eSIMs and how they work. Would you say the sit down food table is worth the price? My group is stuck between a bar table (eat somewhere cheaper) vs a sit down food table at the sky garden. What would you recommend / is it worth it?
I went to Darwin Brasserie - which I think was pretty good. The food was decent but the view from up there was what I was really looking forward to and it didn’t disappoint. If I can recall we spent around £50. We’re American so this was cheap for us since everything here is overpriced 😅. If you’re not much too interested in the experience of sitting up there, I’d say grabbing a drink at one of bars will do just fine and it’ll save you money.

Thank you!! I just got back from a super long trip with this bag and I stuffed it to the top. My biggest concern about it was still how heavy it was to carry, especially since I’m like 5 feet. Still love the bag, but I think that’s something to consider before you buy it.
@@yllaramaiathis immediately was my concern too. I figured even if it would work as a personal item, it would be way too heavy to carry around an airport. I ended up getting the regular weekender for shorter weekend trips in the car (no flight required) and the expandable backpack that I can take on flights along with my standard rolling carry-on I always take anyway. Figured this best works for myself and my fiance!

I'm a bag snob, and my issues with this bag are the materials used, use of single stitching, and not using YKK zippers. All of the hardware being used is plastic and not metal. Single stitching is the biggest red flag. For my weekender, the stitching for the pass-through luggage has already come undone after 6 months and 3 international trips. I was hoping for $98 to get better quality.

I went in March! And I spoke to a representative today about the demographics thing. She said if it’s really important to you, they should be able to tell you the demographics of the travelers for the specific trip you’re looking to go on. I’d reach out to them over the phone!

Do you know if the tour usually sticks to the same restaurants? and what are the odds of me getting the same tour guide you got.. also last Q! If a current tour has some openings, are we able to see the age and gender demographics of the current people of the group scheduled to go on those tour dates?
Hey girl! Thank youuu. In terms of the TD, I think he does a lot more Go Ahead tours than Ultimate Break. I’m not sure if EF will give away the dates which that specific TD is doing a tour..that’s a good question I’ll have to dig into it. In terms of the demographics you can try to call them and ask. What I’d do is post on the travelers facebook group for the dates you’re looking to book and see if anyone is going. Typically people will respond, that way you can kind of get an idea. My group was pretty mixed in age but all girls. Majority of EF travelers are girls. And for the restaurants they typically stick to the same spots. I know someone that’s there right now actually. Let me confirm with her and I’ll get back to you!

How did you schedule to arrive a few days before hand? Did you find your own flights and hotels for these days or did you customize it with EF when booking? 🙏
I was already in Europe so I booked my own flights and hotels for these extra days! When you opt out of flight booking with EF you have to figure out your own transportation from and to the airport. But all other transportation (during the trip itinerary) including flights between destinations are still included. Also when you book flights with them you don’t really get to pick the airline unless you call them directly and make a request. Let me know if you have any more questions!

Hi! This color gets dirtier than the darker colors for sure. If you’re worried about it getting beat up I’d go with the black!

@@janelaluan yes! It was with Delta but they’re pretty lenient with carryon/ personal item sizes. I’d say you’re safe with big name airlines. Not so much with smaller European airlines. Or you could get the convertible mini weekender where the bottom comes off so you have more flexibility with it!
