Put your best foot forward sometimes near and sometimes a lot further away I do some homework before I embark on a new adventure and give you the facts and figures I cant guarantee the weather , but I can guarantee it will all go Waltham Walker and I will get lost

We grew up in Chipping Ongar. We frequented, the Budworth Hall, Leisure centre, Two Brewers and the town. We attended Chipping Ongar Primary school, Ongar Comprehensive and later Davenant Foundation School. Ongar holds so many wonderful memories.
Always nice to hear from people that lived in the area and find out more about local history
This was our Church for many happy years. We used to walk from Woodland Way to Greensted most Sundays and Tuesday for choir practice.
A very nice place to visit! Such a great view from Ware to Bengeo. An excellent share, my friend. Thank you for taking us to this awesome place. 👍👍👍

15 years ago, I used to walk along Lea river in Enfield (along the canalized river), I neve had a chance to go to Luton and have such a walk. The Turkey brook in Enfield, which flows into river Lea, was full of trash.... Why do people destroy such places?
I know its so frustrating to see
Thanks Dave! It was good to see parts of Ongar! 😊
Glad you enjoyed it

If Sir Walter whats-his-face laid his coat on a puddle and HRH The Queen stepped on it, surely it would immediately sink and she'd still get her feet wet! Lol. Nice video
I think its only a legend lol Perhaps he didnt like her

Well done Dave that was a very enjoyable marathon walk l have done myself in small one bit at a time bites , great quality from your new Go Pro camera .

Thank god Enfield still has some green spaces. I took my beloved grandad to see that cedar tree. That was over 30 years ago!
As is the same with a lot of places spaces are being sold up at an alarming rate

Same to you. What garage do you work at?
None at the moment lol
I was asking because you mentioned that a garage you've worked at has no routes with time specific drivers, which one/s was that please?
@@mohibj Hi no it was a joke those who personally know me will know my situation at the moment That said they might not get my joke as I have a weird sense of humour Happy New Year - Dave

My Dad Colin Dean done the demolition in this building around 1985 It was a big job, Ton's of iron to scrap in the yard across the road
Its actually amazing how huge this building is close up
I love watching your little clips. I am seeing places I have never seen or been before. Thanks Dave. Oh, and you are looking well.
Thanks so much Gillian
That took me back a few years since the last time l visited this excellent aviation and transport museum Dave .
It really is great to spend the whole day there
If you took your time and had the energy to take it all in you would need more than a day to see it all especially on one of their event days .
@@jf4950 indeed purposely filmed on a quiet day to avoid crowds
