Dave Skinner, Whitetail Properties Land Specialist

Dave Skinner, Whitetail Properties Land Specialist

After serving our country in the Air Force, my wife and I decided to move back to her hometown and raise our family. We’ve made our home in Bowling Green and the state of Kentucky for more than 10 years and we love this area. As an active outdoorsman I've spent every spare moment absorbing as much knowledge as possible about the area, the land and the wildlife that inhabit it. I'm a diehard bowhunter who loves managing my properties to grow and hold mature whitetail bucks. I'm excited to be able to put my years of experience and knowledge to work for both buyers and sellers of farm and recreational land throughout south central Kentucky as a Land Specialist for Whitetail Properties Real Estate.

I use commercial grade glyphosate. I don’t understand why everyone is up in arms? How else are you going to control weeds unless you plow it under and then you loose moisture and activate more weeds.

1st... Why would I plant a food plot on public land? 2nd... If you eat deer meat anywhere in the country they have in fact been exposed to glyphosate aka roundup. Matter of fact, I'd say 90% of all meat you consume has eaten round up ready crops. Whats your point?

  • @jasrobsny

@@DaveSkinner1 1. food plots on public land are common if the spot is secluded and not well known. Hunters do it all the time. 2. My point is why would you intentionally broadcast more poison into the environment since glyphosate is a PROVEN HUMAN CARCINOGEN and Monsanto was rightly condemned in court for ever having exposed humans to it? They had to sell to Bayer to run away from the public outrage! Further since you sprayed directly in that area the deer are eating a concentrated amount in their food which yourself or anyone who harvests those deer are eating as well. Not to mention that poison seeps into the ground water for anyone around to enjoy in their well water too. THAT'S THE POINT!

Well that is good, because as soon as they eat that roundup garden they will die. Roundup is poison that is harmful to all living things. It is well documented. Why one would use roundup ready seed they can only use once just so they can spray cancer causing chemicals on their produce in order to kill a few weeds is beyond me ! It's a lose-lose situation.
