  @@jarrodperry2984 I trust my healers to keep us up and it helps them also, since they won’t suffer as much pushback during it so they can heal the group and never had issues

  On Sinestra, isn't it better to keep fire ele right before the haste buff goes out? Since Fire ele actually does profit from it (unlike BL etc)

  I think maybe still spawning it near the ranged stack point moments before the buff goes out so it paths to Sinestra in the lava is the move. Using it normally in front of the boss makes the Fire Ele stand in the melee stack to die to cutters

  @@orangelol39 exactly, the best scenario is after the big egg is dead with procs, but sometimes the trinkets don't line up so I use it a bit earlier for a bigger snapshot when it's gloves/trinket/pot/cloak

  I completely forgot Atramedes but it's honestly easy, blast the boss, no CL glyph so u can cleave the random add if needed and have a fast kill time with good gong usage.ALSO try to have Elemental Mastery whenever Magmaw head is down, it takes 100% increased DMG:

  How long would you wait for EM usage on Magmaw? For example, if EM is up 20 seconds before the head comes down, would you wait or just use it right away?

  @@munzi_i if it's your last EM of the fight no matter if you send it or not, you can hold it for 20 seconds to get more dmg. if you want to one phase 1st head I would hold it for head as well personally. I haven't sim'd it but i would assume 3 EM'S are better than 2 when you hold 2nd one for head even tho you could've gotten a third one.

  Hello ! So i do have a big question though as a fellow elemental main ahah, and it's about the flame elemental. So usually, say like in ICC 25 man raid or something, i'm the only elemental shammy, and so, i'm kinda forced to use totem of wrath to give spell power to the entire team instead , no ? i feel like if i switch the fire totem and made the entire raid team lose a LOT of spell power, just so i can get a bit more dps, that the raid would flame me soo hard and probably kick me ahah, so what do you think about that please ? =D , do you only use flame elemental when there is another shaman in raid to keep the wrath totem up ? or do you use it anyway ? do you not get flamed ? =D

  I assume you're playing private servers? you can use totem of wrath to help snapshot the Demonic Pact from the demo lock, that being said, they give way more spell power and it doesn't stack. (maybe it does on pserver?if it stacks, keep it up) if it doesn't stack there is no point in keeping it up since it won't do anything and u can fire ele without issue.

  @@EleEnjoyer but it still increases the boss's chance to receive a critical hit by 5% no ? is that the same debuff as the locks' shadow bolt debuff / mage debuff ? also, if that's the case, then after the fire elem disappears, do you use the 1 min or so fire sear totem or whatever it's called , that fires at the nearby ennemy ? ( not the nova aeo one , the other single target one ) or do you only use your rotation ?

  @@ithinkimahoe9932 the crit debuff is provided by other classes like rogue, after fire ele you want to searing for single target and magma totem for AOE

  @@EleEnjoyer Thank you =D ! i also wanted to use them but felt crippled ahah, one last thing please, do you know if shamans in wotlk are supposed to be able to throw in auto attacks in between casts or not ? so i used to play on a pserver, and elementals were able ( if they were in melee range ofc ) to auto attack the boss in between casts, and every attack would trigger the flame weapon enchant and therefore do magic damage, meaning a substantial damage increase. Do you know if that is something that is supposed to happen or not in regular wotlk ? because it does make sense that they would be able to attack, since the weapon buff provides magic damage ( and at least at the time of making of wotlk i don't think devs considered that a spellhence would exist to make use of the on hit effect of the shamy spell power weapon enchant, ) so it would make sense for elemental to be able to make use of the on hit spell damage, added to the spell power enchant

  @@ithinkimahoe9932 no problem! and yes you can add /startattack with flame shock into a macro together, this should, with enough haste, make u melee and proc the FTW enchant. I was doing that on bosses whenever possible and its edges out a bit more dps

  It really doesn’t attack if you pop it pre-pull, unless you get damaged or its right on top of the target the AI on our totems is just absolutely awful so after your pre-cast lightning bolt you can drop it and it‘ll attack whenever you don’t fire ele at the start

  So heres the question ive been trying to figure out but cant find a good answer: at what points is it worth holding EM for procs to line up vs just using it as soon as it comes off CD

  it really depends on the fight length, where and when you need damage and ofc how long X proc is away, if you have EM up and you get gloves + trinket in 5 seconds I usually hold it. then you gotta figure out if you hold EM here, will you cuck yourself out of another EM? or will the boss fight end before you could get a second one anyway, and in that case you could hold it longer for more procs or MC on nef, execute phase on chimaeron

  Your arguments.are stupid. Did you think about what you said? "Pugs will be easier, you could swap groups from boss to boss". Do you honestly think people would form pugs for every different boss? Playing Cata and never saw that except few times group for Nefarian only. Then you say 25 man, 15 dont know strategies on one boss and 10 man can form their group and kill boss???? DId you actually see that IRL? Cata raiding is stupid in wotlk i could do both 10 man and 25 man, and now i can do only one raid per week.

  Going off what Shaynewilson said. I dont see why they cant just make our searing totem and Elemental just focus whom ever has the first flame shock on, then when that falls of it proceeds to a target or second target that has flame shock. It shouldnt be a glyph imo. Its a good quality of life for our Ele in general. A pet bar would also be nice

  @@EleEnjoyer I have done both at start and when nef lands. Always get a higher parse at the beginning then I did popping it when nef lands. Getting a good snapshot at the point is more RNG then it is at the beginning. Plus if you get through the air phase quick enough you may still have 10 to 20 seconds left of you ele

  On heroic mode the fire ele starts to slap players once you're mindcontrolled. In P3 this easily kills your fellows when they are already low due to electrocute.

  @@Lando43 Do you know what can cause the fire ele to die quick on bosses? Sometimes I put it at P1 of Nefarian and it dies 10-20 seconds in. Not pulling aggro, then I guess it's the AOE? If so then perhaps there is a good spot to pop it?

  It was recently found out that fire ele benefits from the sinestra haste buff, so make sure to drop him late, before the buff with a few procs preferably so it does big dam. like I said later in the video, you can now use both Elementals at the same time, earth ele dmg is not much, but it's free.make sure to not use it on bosses where adds need to be kited tho!

  Ele dps scales pretty hard with haste and the 4 set for 1.5ish second lightning bolts. A lot of it is also just rng based on lava burst resetting.
