The Bezzos example is for a handful of innovative entrepreneurs, not for the vast majority of us. Now, not all the info I get has to be put into creating something impactful. I learn languages just for the fun of it. Quitting social media was the best.

Thank you for a great video. I quit living in the U.S. I sold my house, cars, etc., and bought a property in Japan. Now I am trying to find my niche here. Your video provided me good self-assessment tools that I will incorporate in my thought process going forward.

I had to get rid of toxic relationships or people I used to come across for formality reasons. Now I am back to my personal free space and time. Through meditations and cutting internal cords I felt relieved. I live only in the present not in the past accepting the bullying / mobbing from many different persons I had met - through my job mostly, without wanting to. Protecting my time and space and watching also what stimuli I receive, I am a different person now.

And I get the Steve Jobs vibes same wardrobe, but fashion is also a kind of art and expression and that's one of human kind grace's: diversity.

I quit saying “yes” and “being available” to everyone who constantly come to me to vent about their problems…. I’m a empath and want to help fix peoples issues but what I realized is that people like to trauma dump on you and go their way. They never ask how you’re doing because they have become accustomed to me doing things for them. I am not going to change who I am to people but I now know who the usual suspects are and am comfortable with setting boundaries no matter who they are.

Agreed, sweet. Empathy is a must in life but being to caring for other people will eventually bring you down. In psychology one can have an internal or an external locus of control which brings very different outcomes in ones life. I believe in having an internal locus of control produces a better rounded human being.❤❤

Although this may sound selfish it isn't. It took a Dr of psychology to teach me that one has to focus on themselves before they can give care and compassion to their friends. Remember a friend is a general description of an associate in your life. Humans can go from being a friend to an enemy in one day. Answer, just believe in yourself and don't worry about having friends coz they will not be friends when you most need them. Trust YOURSELF!!!

AVOID negative, complaining people ALL the time. Keep away from things that make you unhappy, angry or annoys you. Focus only on things that will make you happy and ignore everything that you have no control over.

Do you know the Homunculus? Its body parts sizes are proportional to the somatosensory cortex area dedicated to it. With this in mind: maybe we should think about the emotional things that rest in our mind and how important they are in our life (sucking energy). It's not just the things that we are doing day by day but also the things that we are feeling that are important for our energy level! To give you an example: I live in Europe and have a daughter (14) that goes to school and wants to go to the US to live there for 6 month when she gets 16. It's not easy for a father like me to let his little girl go away that far. She was absolutely focused on this idea like the idea to have a dog (5 years of fighting) some years ago. The last months it took me a lot of emotional energy - she did not talk to me, did not look at me, ... Before we all got ill in the family I decided not to be against her plan - being neutral. She was very thankful for that and family life came back. I also have a lot more energy to cope with other things.
