tripleS is a project started 2 years ago and they revealed members one by one (sometimes by group/unit). While they have 24 members now which is their end goal, they only make a 24 member comeback once a year (or every 2 years?). On other times, they will focus on sub-unit activities. The fun thing is they do not have fixed sub-units. They have this so called 'gravity' where fans can participate by voting on who to put in sub units and get to work together. Even the songs they use as title track are voted by the fans like this song. They released a number of teasers for the possible title tracks and fans voted for it. It just so happens that Girls Never Die won. The same goes for the sub-units. If you liked this song then you will like most of their songs as while this is good, this is not their strongest title track. Some info on their past releases as sub-units. Sub-units and songs with MV so far (with the members in it. S numbers only for reference as I'm lazy to type names lol. S numbers are the orders the girls were revealed as members): Acid Angels from Asia - Generation (4 members / S2 S5 S7 S8 S9 S10 S13 S14 S15) +(KR)ystal Eyes - Cherry Talk (4 members / S1 S3 S4 S6) +(KR)ystal Eyes - Touch+ (promoted B side / S1 S3 S4 S6 + S14 since they added a rap part twist from their original version) tripleS - Rising (S1-S10 this was made when they only had 10 members. 12 if you count it in the MV release) LOVElution - Girls Capitalism (8 members / S1 S2 S8 S9 S10 S13 S14 S15 ) EVOLution - Invincible (8 members / S3 S4 S5 S6 S7 S11 S12 S16) Aria - Door (ballad) (5 members / S3 S4 S9 S10 S13) Some performance vids: Rising - OT16 version (this was released when they won the MAMA ROTY 2023) New Look - OT16 (fans voted on which song they want to have a performance with the current 16 members at that time) NXT - Just do it (4 members / S17-S20 / this was made for the sub-unit NXT when they got introduced) GLOW - Inner Dance (4 members / S21-S24 / this was made for the sub-unit GLOW after the Girls Never Die promotion) Other than this, all of the title tracks has performance/dance video. So cold was may favorite so far when I listened to the album(the first time) but PAINFUL is trying to steal "SO COLD's" place lol. "나 홀로" sounds great live, and it gets better each time you listen to it.143 really needs to step up their game. I was so upset last Friday because we only learned that "빌어" was going to be released that day from Junhoe's IG story. If you look at the lyrics of most of the songs in the album, you'll find that he often include words like "solo," "holo," & "lonely"... Junhoe how single are you? haha!

Loved this reaction, and the album is so good😍 'Painful' does hit differently, it's so heartwrenching. About the album cover, Junhoe confirmed it's based on drawings/doodles that he did and the design kinda seems to be inspired by cubism. I'm not sure if there's a deeper meaning behind it or if it's simply Junhoe being Junhoe. I get your frustrations with 143 😔 all their solos deserved so much more. They're a small label, but they could've done better in the smallest things with a little bit more effort.
