Watch and listen to videos of organ projects of Flentrop Organ building and playlists.
On Saturday 18 July 1 pm, watch live the new organ for the Birmingham Conservatory, inspired by the work of Arp Schnitger, in the workshop. Informative films take you step by step through the making process of the organ, supplemented with music recordings. Everyone can also ask questions via chat. The Flentrop team will answer these live and give direct demonstrations.

...is that 'Wacht Auf' being played in the background???
To make an organ shine, a few eggs must be broken, I never knew this!

Kind regards from Brazil. Thank you so much. Watching this video gave me a gama of information and data. Thank you again, my friends, maybe I should try to do this craft form of metal casting...
Very good but far too brief! The Alkmaar organ - Helmut Walcha, Fernando Germani and (IMO) the best of all, Piet Kee.
Hope this organ be fully cleaned one time!
Beautiful work!
Prachtig werk en fantastisch weergegeven!
Wat een indrukwekkende en secure operatie. En een letterlijk voorbeeldige film daarover!
Schitterend werk!
All the old "original" methods were labor intensive. Also, they weren't aware of the hazards of heavy metal poisoning. For example, makers of felt hats went mad from mercury poisoning. Please be careful of those lead fumes gentlemen! Note: we have a 1991 Flentrop at the Holy Name Catholic Cathedral here. From Chicago. U.S.A.
To me this really shows the awesome genius of the Baroque Era builders, as they did it all with drawings and hand tools. I admit to some prejudice here. One of my uncles was a Master cabinetmaker, and would never touch power tools. I do my own drawing by hand, tho I do use a computer for other things. Note: we have a 1991 Flentrop at the Holy Name Catholic Cathedral here. From Chicago, U.S.A.
First watched this about a year ago. Agree with another comment about adding English subtitles. (This can be done later). Have also seen the more recent short videos that do have subtitles. We have a 1991 Flentrop at the Holy Name Catholic Cathedral here. From Chicago, U.S.A.
It's great to see young people working on these crafts. (One of my uncles was a Master cabinetmaker, trained in Italy). We have a 1991 Flentrop at the Holy Name Catholic Cathedral here. Glad to see the subtitles on this video. From Chicago, U.S.A.
De jonge Piet, keurig geknipt. Heel boeiend
Prachtklank!
Is that organ being tested in the Flentrop factory in Zaandaam, Netherlands?
it was built and tested in our workshop, and will now be transported to Birmingham
Prachtinstrument!
English subtitles all the way through would have helped this otherwise interesting video. I wonder why an English music college would want such an extreme instrument? Presumably, it is not their main teaching instrument. The organ-building quality seems to be beyond criticism, of course, but why not a British builder? Is the old story of the expert being someone from the next village? Thanks for the upload.
@MusicConspiracies Dear me. You feel warmly in the matter?
Erg fraai instrument geworden!
Interessante video! Hopelijk volgend jaar weer een echte Opendag ;-)
Machtige fabriek..
Lovely, thank you
Magnificent!
