What r the Insurance and Town Liability Responsibilities for not Requiring Head Gear and Pads for everyone. It surprises me that the Town Boards, along with Town Liability Insurance Carriers did not insist on Mandatory SAFETY precautions. Helmets should b required, elbow and knee pads should b required..yikes

If people are under the age of 18 there, it's the parent's responsibility to make sure their child is wearing the proper protective gear. It isn't up to the town, or anybody else to parent your child.

SKATE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Skaters know this. Parents SHOULD know this. If people over the age of 18 want to ride without helmets and risk head injuries, they should have the right to do so. If parents want their kids to wear helmets and/or pads, they should teach their kids to wear the proper protective gear. If parents want to use this skatepark as a DAYCARE for their kids under the age of 18 that they can drop their kids off at and try to require the town to spend resources to enforce wearing helmets and pads, then those parents need to learn a valuable lesson. A lesson that can be summed up in this question for parents; "would you rather your children be safe? Or strong?" - Jordan Peterson

It would have been great if Bill repeated the questions before answering as the question are difficult or impossible to hear.

I believe this trail starts off the Erie Canal trail just east of Fairport and ends at Panell rd. So I’m confused when he says it’s an easy way to get to East Rochester? Is there a trail it connects to?
