Artisan Guitars

Artisan Guitars

The very concept of a guitar shop in Nashville is hardly unique. When you visit the legendary Music City, there's a lot of history and heritage to live up to. With some of the worlds finest songwriters, session players, and famous recording studios, it beckons visions of Guitar Mecca for players from around the world.

Living up to expectations, Artisan Guitars represents Maton Guitars, founded in 1946. We are the largest authorized dealer in North America. Our specialty is serving guitarists across the country who need exceptional sound reproduction in the studio and for live performance.

Maton's proprietary electronics create an authentic acoustic guitar sound, championed by Keith Urban, Tommy Emmanuel, Eric Johnson, & Colin Hay to mention a few. Melbourne Australia is home to Maton Guitars.

This is the closest one in terms of sound I've seen to a J45. I was really disappointed tonally with the E6SS and the E10SS. This is way more what I'm looking for. Now, I just need to decide if a faded J45 is worth the extra $700 Great video!

Still ........ you talk to tooooooo much. I want to hear the guitar in standard tuning so I can hear the natural voice/sound the guitar presents. The way you played the E40D turned me away from Eastmam. Which is kinda funny because I own an E20D MR-TC.

Worst review ever. Guess how much I actually learned about this guitar from this 'review'? Nothing. In fact, the 'information' is quite misleading. Skinny neck? Nope. I own one of these as well as a 1960 reissue. This is not a skinny neck. It's a fatty. This guitar comes with speed knobs. Yours have been swapped. Where is the pick guard? And what about the pups? A modern version of PAFs. Which sound fantatsic, btw. And the weight? 10 lbs +/-. This guy should be fired. Total waste of oxygen.

Nice demo, three lovely guitars, but it's getting old, describing parlour size as being for travel or couch. People like these smaller boxes for their own reasons.

I love Collings Guitars. Wish I had been able to get to know Bill better. I need to go see Steve and tour the shop. I think they are in a new place from back when I last visited in ‘05 or so. Great video, btw! I need to play a T and a Waterloo. I might be able to afford a Waterloo these days! LOL!

I still do not understand why guitarists put mikes in front of amps when promoting sound of these amp. Why do you not play your amp with guitar swotched on direct so we hear how is the sound

The last one sounded good! I used stomp boxes for a couple of years but switched to a Beat Buddy because when standing, it was impossible for me to use two pedals for a kick/snare or kick/cymbal while also using my TC Helicon Play Acoustic harmonizer. If I didn't use the harmonizer and played while seated, I'd use that last set demonstrated!

I own a Huss and Dalton OM-C and it is the best guitar I’ve ever owned and played. I call it a Martin in a Tuxedo because I believe they began with the basic Martin design and made so many improvements that it leaves Martin in the dust.
