How did you get the bamboo so straight and smooth

Use the fire to soften and correct, this requires a little experience, too long will burn. Try baking it for a shorter time, slowly increasing the baking time until it can be corrected, and then have a damp cloth to cool it.

Yes, when the soil is right, bamboo will grow like crazy, impossible to prevent, and overgrown weeds will inhibit its growth. There are two types of bamboo growth, clumped and scattered. Clumped bamboo is not easy to spread. What you are talking about must be loose bamboo, growing around constantly.
