That's a gorgeous fitup, working on doing a brass guard on a knife now and thinking of trying something similar just not sure how well brass will hold up to that.

Mr Rhea- you were kind enough to talk to me for about 10 minutes at the 23 Atlanta Knife Show. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Know that I study your work and try to incorporate what I've learned into my own work. Hoping to acquire one of your blades at the 24 Show. 9:37

Thank you for the video and lesson. Im fairly new to knife making as a hobby. On the few knives I have made I ended up grinding one in as a retention point for a kydex sheath. Works pretty slick and doesn't look out of place.

Thank you for all of this. The instructions on how to are top notch. That wire trick mind blowing🤯 if you used ss wire you could leave it on to get the right bend that fits your hand I assume. On to part 3

Lin can you do a video on whitetail antler. I find it’s the hardest to use because the round shape and the bow of the horns. It’s hard to get em right.

Thank you for the info. I didn't know you could put horn in hot water to straighten it. I would also be interested in how you drill this type of material since once side isn't flat.

Heck, my ducks and chickens talk to me when I'm forging too! Thanks for your insights on the origins of the choil. There seems to be some controversy about whether to have one or not, but it seems to me that this is the maker's decision. I've never deliberately forged a blade with a choil, but I'm not opposed to it!

Mr. Rhea, thank you for your beautiful work and inspiration. I am trying to duplicate the beauty of the horn handle on one of your bowie knives. It has black at the butt, turning to an orange then to natural near the guard. Can you help me achieve this beautiful look? J. Beck
