I have the same car as you but still learning manual. When I'm downshifting by rev matching from 5th to 4th, do I still have to watch out for my speed to make sure it's appropriate for 4th gear?

You just have to know if when downshifting, the engine will be in an acceptable working revolution range. That's enough.

Seems like you are having a lot of fun od the road with you mx-5 :) How would you compare PS4 vs 07R on the road? Are you satisfied with 07R? What is you experience with them? How long does it take to warm up them on spirited driving - not the limits on road and are you using them as a daily tyre on only for a weekend drives? :) Thank you :)

I have mounted PS4 and 07R in my everyday cars for years now. If you know what you have, the 07R can be used daily without a problem, since they heat up quickly. For the use that I give it, without a doubt, I prefer the 07R

I have 205/45-16 tyres on my car and there aren't any options for sporty tyres (like PS4S, GY SS etc), only touring tyres or semi-slicks. Had Hankook Evo2 V12 and NS2Rs, evo v12 were ok but I would like them to have more grip on spirited drive, NS2R had too stiff sidewalls (good only on good roads and track) and for my taste needed to get warmed up a little bit too long on spirited drive (you have to drive on maximum) so aren't good for daily driving also. Now I'm between Hankook Prime 4, ContiPremiumContact 6 (that are only good tyres in that dimensions) and Zestino 07R 😄

The pro-kit springs maintain a level of comfort similar to the original ones. Those springs were sold as accessories by Mazda in Spain
