    Easier way to use the same basic stove pipe. Don't need an end cap. Just cut down about 3" from the top of the stove pipe every 2- 2 1/2" inches all the way around, to make tabs all the way around. Put pipe over pole with an inside stopper already in place. Bend the tabs in and down towards the pole so that they hold the pipe in place. If it is too loose, you can always put a screw through a couple of the tabs where they overlap at the pole to prevent any chance of the bent in tabs bending back out. or

    I have questions lol great video by the way. The feet that sit in the gutters, do they have to be precise and from what points do you measure to find out what size to get. Thanks again for all the info

    How’s the durability so far? Bit worried about that thin metal bearing the load. Did plastic boot last?

    Lolol the truck driver saved like 0-2 seconds, but used so much gas to accelerate!!! Is this why people needlessly cry at the gas pump?

    How about not sitting in the left lane unnecessarily and share the road so people don't need to go around you?

  • @LadybugAdventures
    @LadybugAdventures9 күн бұрын

    Finally, I was waiting for somebody to bring that up! I think that’s a fair point. on that stretch of road there are often people turning right and since I’m going to be turning left, I usually hang out there in that lane. It’s usually not a problem for 99% of the traffic flow. It’s just when you get the very impatient and speedy drivers that want to go much faster than the speed limit that it appears to become more of an issue. Like I said in the video, I wasn’t going less than the speed limit, and everybody needs to be cautious in that area because police often set their speed traps where the speed limit changes in a school zone.

    You sound so calm and relaxed explaining the video. I suppose you had enough and drivers will never improve. It’s an uphill battle and nobody seems to care until someone gets injured or dead. Being safe and following the rules does not make the nightly news.

    I’ve put it on 2 of my rods now and on my thinner ultralight I used a bunch of zip ties to secure it really bringing down the diameter of the foam. Just fished with it yesterday and it seemed pretty good.

  • @davel29743
    @davel29743Ай бұрын

    Unless you’re fishing for whales, just use a surfboard lanyard and attach it to your pole and your wrist or ankle or boat.

  • @LadybugAdventures
    @LadybugAdventuresАй бұрын

    I’ve done that as well but never liked being leashed like that for me I use this on my paddleboard as the rods tend to fall off easily. I do use a lanyard for my net as it isn’t used as often as my rod.
