I still don't get why you have to add the firmware to the circuit board. Why cant the rc receiver work by itself? Without the firmware that where im lost

because the program on the main processor is not at all the same , the stm32 processor is completely reprogrammed with a new system , you cant just plug a receiver in or use it like i do without changing the main program and replacing it with a new program

My hoverboard does have that big honkin motherboard, only gryo boards on each side. It functions just like any other horverboard. Does anyone here know why I don't have that mobo?

you can control the hub wheels with brushless motor controllers , i just used the boards because they have the controllers built in . i have a project in view with an odrive twin controller

Hi there, Thanks for this video! I found a thrown away hoverboard and it didn't seem to function properly. So I started checking for loose and or broken wires or other deviations within the circuit. There was one loose wire attached to the battery power connection to the motherboard with a 2 pin white connector on the other side. It did not seem to go to any connector. Here in your video you showed me that it is a 15V out extra utility connection. After tens of video's finally shown! So now I can move on, knowing that that wasn't the culprit! Thank you very much!🙏

Just a heads up. Eferu FOC firmware is the most advanced firmware for hoverboards. The github repository has a wiki with documentation for getting started and troubleshooting.

whats not safe ? its safer than a petrol mower , safer than an electric mower !!! the final version has a number of safety features like regenerating electrical breaking so if its going downhill and i leave it on its own to go down it will automatically break to a set speed using electrical regeneration to slow it down, it has automatique cutt off if it loses radio signal etc etc ... Do standard mowers have this ? No so what is not safe if not safer than a regular mower ?

@@fasum3683 la portée vidéo est pas mal pour 25mw franchement , le recepteur est nickel car petite est la portée va dans les 1.5km (compter une 12 aine d'euros) jai commander chez bangood dépôt fr mais ca viens d'allemagne et faut compter une 10 aine de jours .
