I support Israel. However, I find it important to have respectful, peaceful, and understanding conversations without hate.

banning israel from the esc is not on the agenda. or you want to replace israel with isis. first time since 1945 a nazi goebbels crowd reacted to a jewish participant in a crystal nights manner on the streets of malmö.. a jewish girl representing herself and her broadcasting union got attacked by an arab-svedish low class crowd. tomorrow they burn books and humans on the european streets again. not the israeli government nor the israeli army choir nor the state of israel send eden there. it was the broadcaster kan11. if a young 20 years old girl cant feel free to sing her song of mourning, and share her love with europe than this shall be the end of this political esc for everyone. israel was not the agressor in this conflict and fights for it´s existence.

I appreciate you holding an open mind. I absolutely do. Thank you for that. Please think about how you phrased one of your thoughts. Paraphrasing… “This year was different unfortunately and spoiled a bit with Israel’s participation and the reactions.” It makes it sound like Israel participating ruined the mood when the blame should be on the shoulders of those who showed their hatred instead of giving space for “Music to unite” us. It’s blaming the victim for the mood change when it was just a 20 yr old singer wanting to do what she loves and represent her country. I also hear a lot from people that Israel has gone too far, like you said, but then what would you do if it was your daughter experiencing various forms of violence for 8 months? Tell the army, it’s been too long, so they can abandon her? No one has a solution to getting all of them back and dismantling a t group but everyone hates war so to make everyone else comfortable, it’s been enough. So what’s the alternative? I hate war. Hate it. But, I want all the hostages home and h group gone. Every innocent life lost is a tragedy anywhere and we should all be able to hold all those truths at once… the pain and the resolution to save them. Perhaps if the world was less fighting averse and more anti-t_rr_rism, we would have actually tried to get the Boko H_r_m girls back instead of forgetting about them and leaving them to suffer. Israel won’t abandon its people. Anyway… some things to consider. Respectfully. 🙏

  • @mmontano2000

@@rinazzleyou should read the definition of that word. There is tragedy, absolutely, because of w_r started by t_rr_rism but no g-cide. No g-cide in the history of the world could be stopped at any time by the release of h_stages and the surrender of a T-group. It never even had to happen in the first place. Sigh. Just because you repeat a word doesn’t make it true.

Definitely in my top 5 most strong countries in Eurovision! Dana International really raised the bar in 1998, which opened the doors to the LGBTQ community, and especially Trans people to feel included and accepted in mainstream culture. What an amazing accomplishment for a tiny country like Israel. Well done!

This song was not written for the Eurosong, so Baby Lasagna did not have Kaaria in mind at all when he wrote it, nor did he think about how it should look for the Eurosong. A friend persuaded him to apply for Dora (Croatian competition for the Eurovision Song Contest) when he heard the song and immediately wrote to him that he would go to the Eurovision Song Contest with that song. The song was indeed a reserve, and he won with 53% of the total votes, which is an absolute record. Thanks for the reaction. I recommend you to watch his performance in Madrid at the pre party. The audience went crazy for him.
