Seen these guys in action around rural Devon, the pilots are amazing
Great shots of two immaculate specials plus good location magic to these locos again. I filmed the two specials arriving at St Erth then on the return leg at Redruth, judging by the problem's GWR had yesterday they were about the only trains to actually arrive very early everything else was really late. Well done great videos I shall put my videos up later. Jim
@@jamesbland9343 thank you James Respyrn is a fantastic location for train photography the best shots is getting the train going towards Penzance (Class 50s videos for example) with the curves in the track and the trains snaking on the curves.
Wonderful aircraft.
Excellent rail video, nice captures! Thumbs Up Greetings from Romania Andrew
thank you I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Greetings from the UK 👋
Breath taking and the Howl is addicting to listen to - A Most Awesome aircraft i've seen and heard. The inverted maneuver almost took my breath away.
She was an amazing aircraft I was lucky to see her a few times at airshows before she sadly retired.
Excellent video Al!! Some great shots there and awesome catch of the railtour really going for it!! Nice to see some castle sets in the mix too!!
What camera do you use?
Panasonic HC-V180 Camcorder www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-HC-V180EG-K-HC-V180-Camcorder/dp/B01AI1M3DW?th=1
Im pretty sure they was responding to a High Rise AFA (based on the appliances that responded)
Great footage!
nice castle sets and IETS good 2 tone from 802008 life rnli ah right ok but. 47s was mega thrash lol and clag
Thanks Sion yeah the RNLI livery is new apparently. Thursday was GWRs meet with RNLI at Penzance which I heard about after making this video. It was RNLI 200year anniversary apparently which is why GWR put a livery on that IET.
@@AlsTrainspottingHD ah ok interesting i guess you was glad RTT said 802008 was going to see you then
@SionsTrainVideos honestly I didn’t know at the time until 802008 arrived but still a nice bonus specially on the first day of the new livery.
@AlsTrainspottingHD ah right lol i always look on RTT in the morning in bed to see what trains i got in my area or on holiday
@@SionsTrainVideos Yeah it is always good to check on there to see what trains are coming to you.
I flew that 727 when it was N217FE
Very good video al crosscountry train at par okay you must of been there quite early that day as I know crosscountry trains run early morning and late in the evening, it’s gotta be quite rare to see a steam tour at par because I know most of them only go as far as Plymouth , I will say variety at par is better then Exeter as you still got the added benefit of the castle sets
Thank you Alex yeah the Cross Country Voyager was a nice bonus for me. As you said only a couple in Cornwall in the morning and late evening so nice bonus on my side. It came through Par just before the steam train arrived like 10 before the steam train so i think the voyager came through at like 14:30 or something as it then does a Penzance to Leeds service in the afternoon out of Cornwall although I think that is only a bonus Cross Country service into Cornwall only at the weekend in the summer months.
Great video Al! I only managed to see this video I did see this railtour myself I do like a good class 37 was it ? Livery on these however look simple which nothing really wrong with that I see your nearing 400 subscribers keep it up
Thank you Alex yes of course I did see the Railtour and your video of this Railtour as I remember watching your video when you recorded the Class 37s pass through Exeter St David’s and I agree with you the West Coast Railways livery is abit simple compared to other liveries but I think the red is really nice and shiny .
Also Alex thank you for the heads up for my approach to 400 subscribers I’m just waiting for that number but to be honest I’m not picky when it comes too subscribers etc as long people enjoy and watch my videos that is good 👍
Excellent video Al!! Nice catch of the 37s there they sounded brilliant on their departure
Thanks Jacob they did sound amazing departing out of Par.
lovely IETS 150 158 and castle sets, 37s too lol great tones from that castle set
Thank you again Sion for watching this video. I'm glad you enjoyed this video aswell. I do have another train video coming up this week which includes the NMT passing Bodmin Parkway.
@AlsTrainspottingHD yep i did enjoy thanks. Oh cool i saw the NMT last week in my youtube and a saw a 70 with 66
very good video nice variety of trains cool shutting moves too
Thank you Sion yeah I enjoyed my little visit to Par last weekend. I thought I'll make a video at Par as I knew the specials do some shunting around etc.
that was cool shame he had a red light lol but nice tones
Yeah the driver had a red when passing through. a GWR IET arrived just a couple of minutes before so they were pretty close together.
@AlsTrainspottingHD yeah i see it happens when im in pwll which is where i am now
nice catch they sounded great shame no tones tho loco hauled trains normally do
Thank you Sion no the driver didn't sound the horn when departing out but I still enjoyed seeing them.
@@AlsTrainspottingHD me too
@@AlsTrainspottingHD dont think u watched my videos for a while have u?
@@SionsTrainVideos Too be honest Sion I haven’t watched many train videos in general recently but I’ll go and watch some. I see that you have uploaded the NMT and a few freight trains .
@AlsTrainspottingHD oh right. Yeah I've seen alot of interesting stuff like weedkiller 66s last month, i seen 2 black 5s with a 47 and ballest train with a 70 and a Sweden 66. Sometimes a tamper too
Excellent video Al!! Some nice variety at Par there and great shots of the railtour as it shuffles around at St Blazey!!
Thank you Jacob yeah there was alot being done with the special as they prepare for the return journey.
Wait, I thought the Castle HST sets had been withdrawn?
So did I, they were meant be retired end of 2023, it seems that GWR has kept a few of them for 2024. Although I think they are only operating between Plymouth and Penzance.
@@AlsTrainspottingHD Ah, I see. I'm assuming that once they're completely done with them on these services, they'll head up to Scotland. A better idea would be to keep some powercars for Night Riviera services, as they still use MK3's for those services...
@@TheosTrainsWalesOfficial yeah that makes sense to keep them for the Night Riviera. Although the Night Riviera Coaches are slightly different as they have a different way of coupling .
Before Grenfell, LFBs Pre-Determined Attendance (PDA) was 4x pumps but since the Inquiry they have now added: 1. A Turntable Ladder (TL) and 2. LFB policy added a requirement for Extended Duration Breathing Apparatus (EDBA) in the PDA. EDBA isn't carried on pumps but it is carried on Fire Rescue Units (FRUs) - which is the fire appliance filmed from 3:30 to 3:53. Therefore, this appears to be a standard PDA for a reported highrise fire in London. Obviously, the Incident Commander would be "make pumps x" once he's sized the job and/or as the situation develops.
Thank you for the additional Information of the send outs. It does certainly make sense following the Glenfell Tower events.
Excellent shot of the Blue Pullman coming up the gradient there!!
Thank you Jacob yeah always good to get a train coming up a gradient I think that gradient levels for Bodmin Parkway before steepening once leaving the station towards Liskeard.
Belle observation
I don’t know what happened to it.. it’s stayed at Chentelnham for 2 Months and it hasn’t taken off
Where's the tail rotor?
The MD900s hasn’t got a tail rotor like other helicopters, they use the tail wings and the big rotor blades for stability and rotation. I see if I can find something about the design of the MD900s.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/MD_Helicopters_MD_Explorer
It's probably getting on for replacement time for those engines.
Why
I don't think the new Mercedes trucks that are seen in this video are gonna be replaced they have only been around London for a couple of years replacing the older Mercedes Trucks unless they just ain't at as many stations as the new trucks have the replaced the older units.
Awesome video of Lewisham, and double Greenwhich
Great catches of the LFB!👍🏻
"2 Pints of lager and a packet of crisps please"
Nice
They aren’t gonna send four pumps, a TL and an FRU to a would-be jumper! And they certainly aren't gonna rock up 'on the bell' to a training exercise! 4x P, 1x TL & 1x FRU is now the srandard PDA to a high-rise shout in London. But, unfortunately, it took the deaths of 73 people before the joke woke, out-of-their-depth management at the UK's consistently worst performing Fire Service to take this sort of incident seriously.
Excellent video there Al!! Some nice shots and captures!! Definitely a huge variety of destinations from here!!
Yeah London Paddington is probably the most connected station in the world because it serve London Heathrow, UK Busiest Airport 3rd busiest in the world i think London Heathrow.
High rise fire alarm
nobody seen a fire engine before???
I think everyone has at somepoint.
Stevie Wonder hasn't.
I believe that if the Brigade are called to a block of flats, they now automatically send 5 pumps and a TL. This all came into being following Grenfell.
Only saw four pumps though.
I doubt the ladder is anything to do with a suicide threat. A report of a fire in a large multi storey building with multiple occupants is going to automatically be treated as a potentially serious incident.
Makes Sense.
I've sharded watching this video.
That’s npas almondsbury or npas43
Thanks Qatar !! You made a few greedy developers rich, Great work.
🤣 I haven’t flew with Qatar thank you for watching.
Quite a unique video Al!! Nice concept and cool to see the London Bridge throat from there
Thanks Jacob yeah it is quite a impressive sight I could see for 30miles I think. In the summer if you looked out towards the west you could see London Heathrow which is about 15miles from London. So probably be able to see Reading.
thats cool trains in the air
It was quite a impressive height being up there. The Shard makes London look like a model railway.
@AlsTrainspottingHD yeah it does look like a model railway
Nice video Al!! Nice selection of shots at a very nice location! Good to see the sleeper there and also of course the Castle sets!!
Superb footage!
good video nice plane work to be honest i never really got into them but i love seeing in the air and going on flight rider seeing where there going. good catch on the sleeper and castle sets 150 aswell on wednesday i uploaded the test train and and 43357 was with it and 013 on the back
Thank you Sion glad you enjoyed this video.

Great compilation alot of amazing catches
Thank you glad you enjoyed the video.
great video lovely sounds of the 43s and good variety of the 43s with tones some nice crossovers too. lol this must have been uploading all night
Yeah it was uploading all night lol, when the servers ain’t busy best times really. I made this video a week ago just before the Camborne video from 18th December it toke me like 3hours to make.
@AlsTrainspottingHD ah right lol busy then
@@SionsTrainVideos of course. I did forget to hear your comment.
@AlsTrainspottingHD no worries thanks
great video with the IETS 43s and 158958 lol those tones made you jump i would too and i noticed 800309 has a flat. the ending was good with the camborne show
Thank you Sion yes the tones did make me jump lol 😆 I think Captain Smash was the 43188 Driver at the start of the video.
@AlsTrainspottingHD ah right lol yeah could be him
@@AlsTrainspottingHD i uploaded the Northern belle the other day with other trains
