    Hi how are your grommets holding up after all this time? Does the chair still feel rock solid?

  • @DustinRogersinMO
    @DustinRogersinMO21 сағат бұрын

    No. They only lasted about 2-3 months. I don’t know if the OEM bushing would hold up longer, but for the price, I’m not willing to try. I’m tempted to just weld the linkages solid in the lowest position because I don’t need it to move. 😂

    You force the boot over the cone. The elasticity of the boot, size of cv joint, etc will play a factor at how quickly it goes for whatever you’re working on. No point in watching me struggle for 10-15 minutes.

    Hey Dustin my start relay has 2 pins and the number on it is j531q32e. Google keeps pointing to the 1 pin relay. The terminals are numered and the pin mine was connected on was on pin 2. The 1 pin relay has the pin on number 2. You think i would be safe with the 1 pin relay? Dont really know what to make of the numbers on my relay as they don't seem similar to the 4.7 relay. I did measure the resistance on mine and i was getting 956 ohms so its bad for sure. Another thing on the rear tag for the specs on my fridge it shows power input of 90w

    Found this link which may give you another number to cross reference and see if it looks the same as what you currently have. www.appliancepartspros.com/answers-for-samsung-relay-ptc-da35-00099g-ap4566388-question-220951.html

    @@DustinRogersinMO thanks man. So the replacement part doesn't look exactly the same but the repair video associated with the part shows the exact same looking part. Only difference is that relay is being used on a full sized refrigerator and I have a small Danby mini fridge. That fridge also has 2 wires connected to it while mine only has 1 wire connected to it on pin 2. I'm still a little unsure. I'll try and do more research. In the end I feel the 1 pin 4.7 relay might be the correct part.

    @@DustinRogersinMO so I tried it and I didn't get the beep. Same when I tried to register the new vsc. But my abs and brake light are off now. I just have the vsc lights on for steering angle sensor malfunction. Thanks for the helpful video! BTW, on my 2002, the vsc computer is a bit bigger with 4 screws. I had to unbolt the 3 bolts for the module to get room to get the computer out.

    @@DustinRogersinMO I redid the zpc and this time I got the beep!! I may have had the wrong pins jumped the first time. I tried again to register the new vsc and did not get a beep. I'm pretty happy that my abs is working. Thanks again.

    I had the 30 galllon version of that Craftsman for 30 years, not problems at all. 2 years ago, a meth head broke into my shop and stole it along with many other valuables. I'd like to find a suitable replacement,,,, they just don't make a comparable compressor these days.

    Awesome fix, but I would rec’d to anyone watching, to just go ahead and replace the switch with a new one. Your ‘fix’ while ingenious, may not last, and then you're back to having to replace it, just a thought? I replaced ours years ago, and it just stopped working, and so we ordered a new one, and I could not remember exactly how to get at it? I didn’t want to tear the cabinet of the washer all apart, so I found your video, and while it didn't provide quite the info I was looking for, it did help some. I would suggest leaving a bit of space between the washer and dryer, so if the washer has an unbalanced load, when it is in the spin cycle, it wont be banging against the dryer? Take care, hope you're doing well. Peace

Also, I was able to reactivate it by the switch - so I'll try blowing it out! Haven't opened it yet but it appears to have a Panasonic Li battery.

    Checked this out on Magic Chef Wine Cooler - Start relay appeared to be working - doesn't rattle- compressor starts, gets very warm, refrigerator doesn''t cool. It appears that overload relay kicks it out. Question I guess is if the overload relay is doing it's job and the compressor is overheating. What's the next step if this starter relay is working properly - is it likely the overload relay kicking off too early, the compressor bad, low refrigerant charge? What's next if the start relay isn't the culprit?

  • @DustinRogersinMO
    @DustinRogersinMO12 күн бұрын

    How long does it run before the overload trips? If it’s a matter of seconds, it may still be the relay. Check out this newer video where I show a faulty relay that doesn’t rattle. kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z3-gtsyOZMa4hqQ.html If it runs for a long time before the overload, I’d suspect low refrigerant.

    The iron I used in this video was just a dual wattage 15W/30W so I have no idea what temperature it is. With my newer iron, it kind of depends on what I’m doing. I try to keep it as cool as possible for the job to keep from cooking the tip.

    Ive had the same issue for about a year on my ford focus ecoboost 2014 the check engine light comes on and off every couple of weeks, i have had it in to a mechanic, he cleared the codes, asked me a few questions like do i only drive it locally ect, is the car using alot more fuel than normal egg type smell coming from the exhaust, i said no, that had him stumped and he is a really good mechanic. When i first got the car the check engine light came on within about 10 mins after purchase, said it was a sensor and was fixed free of charge that was back in 2017, now i have just recently purchased cataclean, i put it in when i only had like maybe 16 miles of fuel left not sure what that is in gallons, but my fuel light was on so it was pretty close to empty, poured it in went about a 16 mile drive then filled up my car to quarter of a tank, drove to work the next day it might be a placebo but my car did feel like it a fresher responsiveness too it 🤔
