BEST JAPAN HOTELS | Periple

【Our Story】
When we Japanese go to a foreign country to travel, we are always wondering which hotel is the best to stay, which booking site to use, what kind of atmosphere and what kind of place is the city we visit, and so on.
There are many things that we can't understand just from text and images.
Then, we realize that this is the same problem that foreigners have when they visit Japan.
In particular, the Japanese language is unique and difficult to understand.

With this in mind, we decided to create this channel.

We will visit hotels all over Japan and share all of our experiences on this channel, transcending language and oceans!
We hope this channel will be an opportunity for you to learn about better hotels in Japan!!

And your support is most essential. 🔥
Your comments and channel subscriptions are the biggest reason why we can continue this activities.
Let's find together some great hotels in Japan that we also don't know!!!

Hello from California USA! Thanks for sharing your experience at Yamagataya. I've booked two nights with my husband for next April 2025. Your video was helpful in helping me decide. Thank you, again.

Is it true that blossom has a bad smell? And in another comment you mentioned a discount…where can I find it? Do you prefer blossom or hotel 1899?

Not sure why my last reply did not show. Make sure you read the reviews from hotel booking websites and you will see how many reviews about bad odor. It's such a beautiful hotel I wish they can fix that. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the comment!:) We stayed at this hotel when it was just being built, so we didn't notice any unusual odors, but I don't know about now. By the way, if you are going to stay there, I would recommend the 1899 Hotel! It is a unique hotel concept and also the tea service was quite good! And, unfortunately there does not seem to be any discounts, etc. on the hotel we used at this time...

  • @periple_japan

Which terminal are you planning to arrive at? For example, from Haneda Terminal 3 station, it depends on the day, but today, the last train to Hamamatsucho station departs at 23:50, so you may not make it just in time if you have checked baggage.

@@periple_japan thanks ! Besides this hotel, can you recommend a hotel with balcony, located somewhere between city & disney ? Our family plan to go there, we defintely need balcony / terrace, and we want tp stay in just 1 hotel for a week 😬🙏 With children, we want to avoid moving hotels, so we need the location to be somewhere in the middle of city & disney, to reduce transport time. It is hard to find hotels with balcony access. Our budget is 35,000 yen / night, we hope you can recommend one , thanks ! 🙏
