  Half way through this and one thing is bugging me. The intro is set in 1901, then we skip to 70 years later. This would put the rest of the film in 1971, but it's clearly not. Apart from obvious giveaways to this, the main character clearly asks about the maternity hospital :- "wasn't it knocked down in the eighties".

  hey! You misread the beginngin :) It is set in 1951 :) and 70 years later puts us in 2021 :) and again a year later in 2022 which puts us in the year of release :)

  I don’t actually think I’ve ever seen worse acting than this. It had potential but the stiff emotionless acting was almost funny in how bad it was.

  A whole grown adult sees person in mask standing at window and proceeds to hide under blanket? Then nonster pulls blanket off of whole grown adult and she just sits on bed with flashlight on in an already lit room instead of using the phone to dial 9-1-1? I think the title of the book she was reading is symbolic of the filmmakers obvious attitude towards logic in this story. Nice cinematography though

  thanks for the comment, the title "A classic short horror story". should tell you that it is flooded with anti-logic. It's also not clear to the character wether it's a person with a mask, there is clearly something demonic as we see at the end :)

  The fact that the word "short" is in the title made you subconsiously do that? In any way if people see "36 minutes" its their decision to watch that right? Just like it's someones own decision to watch a almost 4 hour version of lord of the rings :)

  Interesting. I think the ending was a little rushed. I wont spoil it but that transition from scared to ok this is normal is not believable. 3 / 5 Stars That camera is nice.

  A lot of unnecessary scenes, the acting subpar, the writing leaves something to be desired. Even if you just want to waste some time, dont watch this. It's just bad.

  Exactly my thoughts. Those scenes (she is stepping out of the car, we see both her feets for a few seconds; she is slowly walking; and always the noise of her steps as she is walking; the other woman knitting, than slowly walking to the phone; etc.) do not add to the story at all, just fill out time.

  I was sort of into it in the beginning but as soon as she just left her baby, to get a cat she wasnt even enthused was found in the first place i stopped watching.

  Hey mate, I think you had the right idea. Just some notes. I wouldn't have brought the creature in too early and exposed it. The more we dont know the more suspenseful. Also wasnt too sure about the meaning of the book cos I havent read it? ... then to go with her tapping on the window? You have the right idea but think your story has some work. More than happy to chat with you if you wanna talk story. ( I know what youre thinking "You dont know what your'e talking about") just try me. Ive been around writing all my life.

  Hey man, thanks for watching :) i agree. I wanted it like this, this time. But i already said to myself, the next time i want more suspense, its really lacking here. This goes foeward way to fast and there isnt really much "scary" going on here. So all tips noted :) next short i want to build more towards a scare rather than the entire short being one haha. Check out my previous one called " Motherly" maybe that suits you more !:) peace

  I loved the idea behind the movie, the actresses were fun to watch but in the end I really wanted to see some REVENGE!! From the spectral plane, since there were 2 ghosts now, or for the 2nd Mom to not give up but just let her crazy loose!! Maybe that's your next short? Great videography and editing too! Congrats 🎉
