    by the way, it is cheaper in Ukraine to buy alumina tube instead of vacuum cleaner tip/adapter/air intake

    I always wondered why 2x4 strips arent added to the back side to prevent the wobble so that its braced. It would be easy and cheap to do.

    I ordered the layout square set - the larger 12 inch square was off by over 1/8 of an inch. Totally unbelievable after paying 135 CAD for the set. Treid calling dealing with thier customer service but they spoke very poor English/Chinese. I wouldn't recomend this product or company

    You have to already have a flat surface to build a flat surface. Well,if I had a flat surface, I would not need another flat surface.

    Every consider printing in PC-CF? I print spool centers, AMS trays, and AMS inserts. This way I dry it in a convection oven at 115-120 ºC for about 4 hours container and all. Fill with your choice of desiccant.

    Just made one of these and have one suggestion. The uprights that hold the connectors for the bearings are far too thin and break really easily. I fixed it by super gluing a popsicle stick to the outside.

    abs, a/c , cruise control fuse kept blowing. It was the 7 prong trailer connection just wanted to share, I haven't seen no videos out there showing that it was the seven prong connector. it took me a few days to figure out hope this save somebody some time.

    I found 2 spools one from IC3D and Jessie's Premium (both from printed solids) that do not fit inside of this. The spools are about 20.5 cm (~8 inches) in diameter. The width of these spool seems to be the biggest problem, they are 7 cm (~ 2.75 inches). All the rest of the spools are from Bambu labs and they print and store in there perfectly. Thank you for the tutorial and the files. Do you have one for larger spools?

    I like this design because you can use any type of cheap boards from any local store. You could use even polystyrene that should be much cheaper than what you used in this video.

    Isn't it heavy? What if you use bean bags filler? would that be enough for stopping ..maybe with a few pieces of cardboard in between. I did not see the price for it. I think this form of target only works in you area. For me the foam boards are quite expensive. It much cheaper to actually buy a foam target from an archery shop.

    i know i'm a bit late to comment, but i really like shellac on my mdf shop surfaces. not as hardwearing as some other options, but easy to apply and repair, just don't drop your rag covered in denatured alcohol on it. thinned oil based poly in several coats will soak in and build a solid protective surface but is a real pain to repair.

    I use the ramset on many different things. Everytime I install an outside spigot on concrete wall or brick wall I use the ramset. I use the outside spigots with 2 holes and flange built in it and I use the brown load for brick and the green load for concrete wall with 1/2" or 1" ramset nails. I normally only need the yellow shots and 1-1/2" nails for mounting 2x4 boards but I use the ramset also on my copper mounting bracket to hold copper pipe on concrete wall. Way better than any tapcon or concrete screws

    As I understand it you actually want ZZ (608zz vs the 608rs) bearings, as the ZZ rolls smoother/faster when compared to the rs, so no clean/re-lube needed. I've been looking for a system for my ERCF v2 (8 cart) plus storage - I think I'm going to go with this with some mods. Thank you! EDIT: Darn, FusionFilament (ABS) rolls seem to be about 73mm, but this will work well for just about every other filament I have - of course I realized after ordering what I need for 18 boxes.

  • @BuildItMakeIt
    @BuildItMakeItАй бұрын

    Oh no. That is such a bummer of the filament roll size. It is crazy how much variation there its in the roll size. Yeah the ZZ bearings are totally the way to go. I had a bunch of the rubber sealed ones and wanted to use them since I already had them. Thanks!

  • @TheMrDrMs
    @TheMrDrMsАй бұрын

    @@BuildItMakeIt ah that makes sense! Yeah, oh well on the Fusion stuff. I like their ABS but I'm moving towards ASA for the ABS needs so it's not like these try boxes will be a waste. Mostly will be using PLA with my ERCF anyways. Already printing the holders, thanks!

    Not a fan of you sending viewers through an entire purchase process for "free plans" 🙄. Seems like email/data harvesting to me.

  • @BuildItMakeIt
    @BuildItMakeItАй бұрын

    I can totally understand that. I didn't used to have it setup that way I give out a number of free plans and files (and sell a few too), but people keep stealing them and selling them as their own so I am trying to cut down on the scraping of my stuff for resale so I have some recourse. I used to get mad emails about people getting ripped off from some other person selling them the plans and then they would give them my files which wasn't what they were promised or some other issue. When I changed to going through the checkout prosses and then also put the plans on Etsy myself to protect my IP that fraud stuff went way down. Plus then people have an option to donate which is how I can pay for the website hosting and stuff for making the videos. I am a pretty small channel trying to navigate this all and haven't made a profit yet in over three years sharing stuff on KZread. Hope that helps you understand somewhat why I have a checkout process for free plans.
