  I was thinking about doing this build myself. I tested it out a little bit before and it's so much fun. Glad to see a more detailed video about it. I did instead opt to make Toph Beifong with the Golem Fists. But unfortunately, those weapons really need a buff - it's stamina usage is crazy for how little damage its heavy attack does.

  The starting armor is what you use. You're not getting knight cavalry armor that early since it's in consecrated snowfield.

  Golden vow became a consumable and makes more sense to use. Letting those faith points be used elsewhere more effectively.

  Definitely switch up the stats a bit to benefit you the most. As long as you keep the guts motif, then you are solid.

  Vow of the indomitable on the fingerprint can be used to doge messmers grab and the ground spears attack and many other attacks you are unable to block

  I use wretch for builds to have flat 10 across the board when starting. The starting stats don't matter that much by the time you can use this build.

  Most bosses were fairly normal, but the last one was a real tough one. You get beat up pretty hard with the combos.

  It's not meant for the dlc, it's only to get the base game started, check the updated dlc version for the new one.

  Solitude armor is almost an exact copy of guts armor. Just gotta go without a helmet to show off the eyepatch and scar across the nose 😂

  The Two-Handed Sword talisman is also a great option for this build. The amount of damage you do between that, the bloodsucking cracked tear, and shard of alexander just absolutely melts bosses

  I did try that, but it only gave the damage boost when doing normal and charged 2 hand attacks. The ash of war doesn't get the boost, so the talisman was only barely effective as the ash dominates mid to low sized enemies.

  The best combination for guts is the bandit mask, nights cavalry armor, and blaidds gauntlets and greaves, and with that you hit 52 poise!

  Do you have any plans in mind for a Grunbeld or Griffith builf in the future? Griffith seems much more possible with the dlc (Aspect of the Crucible wings for femto, dried bouqet + miquellan knights summons to get the sacrifice boost, rellana or leda armor)
