  So, is this from the 80s or covering the 80s now? Great video quality if the former. If modern, well.. sheesh, nice tight play, but oh God - Dead or Alive were so lamestream and putrid back then, they need to be erased from history. Please don't cover Dead or Alive kiddies. Anywhere, anytime. Take up smoking, lick cane toads, swim in the Canning River or let off 50 nangs in your arse - but whatever you do, don't be Dead or Alive. Look at Pete Burns and think: "do I really wanna get my freak on?" ..well do you??

  I was there before you, from Aug 71 to April 72, at age 22 and I worked for Dravo on the big Iron Ore Pelletizing plant. Good pics of the “huts” where you got a cot, a small dresser/closet and a shared desk in between the 2 cots. Temps ranged from high 80’s Fahrenheit up to 110. I never needed a jacket that’s for sure. I can’t say I ever saw a blade of grass there, maybe in Wickham? No swimming, waters were infested with great whites. Desolate area, 900 miles North of Perth, the nearest big city other than Jakarta Indonesia across the sea. Multitudes of bush flies. Food was decent, pay was pretty good money in Australia for those days. The whole experience toughened me up for life, I’ll give it that much. Thanks for posting!
