One of 630 ever built w220 S65 AMG. This one is from 2004 and imported from Germany to Japan, and in 2017 from Japan to Finland. It is the only W220 S65 AMG in Finland. Pictures taken by @an_kuvamedia & @carsportterturku

Check engine.
Secondary air pump 🎉
Front rotors are made by Brembo for Mercedes Benz, just buy straight from Brembo $375.00
Brembo direct prices are over 1k usd. 390 mm rotors and AMG stamps needed. I use only orginal parts. I want to keep it in best possible condition. Just got Classic Data estimation and classification of 2
@@S65Finland FCP EURO has a kit on their website that includes both front Brembo rotors front pads and sensors for 802.36 The Brembo rotors alone are 344.00 each. I own a 2005 CL 65 AMG, I will buy Brembo for my vehicle. It’s the same as genuine less the star.
Not even a bit slide
Not at all. 4 persons in a car and traction control on. 612 hp and 1000nm torque too much for a risk. But later on when I learn more and no people in car. Then I will drive harder
Very nice car and landscape
thanks man! I will add couple same kind of short clips here with different speeds
Beautiful car man
Thank you sir
nice
Yeah! This is pretty quiet car, but the stiff AMG chassis and hard sport tires are making some noise.
man good luck with that car , but an V12 S class is going to be a really ungrateful car to maintain especially if tis 20 yrs old.
Yeah. I suppose there the main points are keeping it good condition. If you fail with that - then it can be hard.
Not start engine? Fucking video
I have cold start videos 2x. And one video where the car is on 🫶
Great to see your superb, rare MB and learn about maintenance experiences. I own a W211 2005 E350 AG with 108,000 km--because it's still so safe and enjoyable to use. Owning an old MB, I expect $2000--5000Au per annum for mechanical costs and its serviced 6-monthly. Am now looking at a local 2007 S65 AMG and a 2008 S600--probably just pipe dreams?
Nice to hear. I would recommend S550 381 horsepowered engine. Easier and cheaper to maintain, but if you go with m275 V12 check that the coils are good and that the electronics work.
Anyone noticed he's sitting on a sheet of ice.
Such a beautiful car! I am just curious did you go back to the original dealer to complain and see if they would reimburse you any of your money?
Yes, I did start a law suit. It is going to take time. But in any case im very happy to this car. Eventually now I know what 100% there is and when I have done all in order - it will not fail 😎
@@S65Finland Good for you! Enjoy her 🤟🏻
Yes i did. And unfortunately they refused. They first did that oil leak problem, but the quality of work was so bad and they did not follow mb instructions so i needed to take the car to origimal mb amg shop to a better quality work
Happy to hear you have these issues sorted now. It's always tricky to bring such a complex car to a dealer/workshop that doesn't have the right experience. I don't know if that first dealer was MB or just a generalist? When the M275 works properly, it's a magnificent engine. Do you know where the blue inserts come from on your seats? On one of your earlier videos, I checked the VIN and there is no mention that this was done at the factory. Would be interesting to know the story behind this. Looking forward, what you will do with the ECU. I have read that updating the TCU makes the gearbox shift faster. That's something I am thinking of for my CL. Your S65 in white looks amazing in the snowy winder landscape. :)
Thank you very much! I guess the blue covers come from Japan taylor? This car was delivered from AMG to Japan. So maby someone did there some after fitting with the interior. The seller was a normal car shop. So no expertise with the amg, but no it really starts to be in good condition!! And its really fast!
I did bought one special W220 S65. This might be the only one in Finland
Rare car sounds great
Thank you sir!
Very nice car and so rare, especially in Europe! The blue leather is a bit strange. When I decoded your VIN (visible in your other video) there is no information about blue leather. It only says leather condor exclusive AMG, anthrazit AMG and grafite exclusive. Maybe this blue was added later in Japan? Usually, when such colours are chosen, they are also added to the door panels which is not the case for your car. Looking forward to more videos with your fantastic S65 AMG!
Thats sooo nice. I have a 2001 s600 . Love it, absolutely love it
I bet the S600 is perfect!!!!
@@S65Finland the pse for the door locks has a stuck door lock, I've replaced the pump... other than that... it's sooo nice. Thank you
One of the rarest, coolest, and fastest post-merger AMG's in existence. I love mine :)
Yeah! \,,/
'promosm' 😬
You can promote this page if you want! I dont have any resources to do so.
my goodness the sheer roar of that powerful engine, beast of a whip💯
gorgeous car, power with beauty, also those lowpro tyres look soo good🔥
Thank you very much! It is really a treasure
sounds like a fucking monster
Brutal 💣
Gorgeous car!!! I'm looking for an either S55 or S65 too, enjoy it and I hope to see more vids!
Thanks man! I will upload some stuff near future yes :)
so how much did you pay for it in Japan?
I dont know how much it was in Japan, but car tax was around 8k€ in 2017. Then there did come top Finnish VAT 24% and top of that Finnish Customs 10%. So pretty much costs already there
@@Ekoperseand how much did you pay for it?
I paid 35k€ before taking engine part and repairs etc. Slowly it starts to ge in awesome condition. @@mihaitinica839
