It would be easier to hear the information without the background music,. What possible function can that have?

If you would please FOR HEARING IMPAIRED could redo this but without the music or turn down the sound track? We the hearing impaired are not concerned with volume as we are in voice discrimination.
Im doing chemo every two weeks
I am 35 years breast cancer every 3 weeks chemo my first chemo was today the port hurts injection for me is kindoff like shaving my hair and perfume on top like burning cold so far no side affects just a little bit a tired eyes and numbness on feet I am positive I will survive it
I have been receiving chemotherapy at the Levine Cancer Institute, part of Atrium Health in Charlotte NC. What you bring is determined by how long your infusion session will last and personal preferences. I get blood drawn a couple days in advance so the test results are available when my treatment session starts. My doctor checks the blood test to make sure my white blood cell count is above a specified level for treatment. He also checks my liver and kidney functions via the blood test. I only live a few miles away from the infusion room (I'm lucky) so I apply the numbing cream at home. I tape a medicine bottle cap over my port after applying the stuff to keep it off the inside of my shirt. I wear a button down shirt or polo that allows easy access for the nurses to place the needle and to get the flow going. I get a mixture of meds so my time in the chair from start to finish can run up to three and a half hours including a pre and post flush and getting heparin. My facility has water, soft drinks, crackers and chips, and some fruit which is always available. I bring a bottle of water or Gatorade. Our facility has individual TVs at every chair. You can listen through the speaker or headphones if you have them. I bring an old iPod loaded with music which I listen to through my headphones. They will bring a pillow or rolled-up towel to put behind my neck. I usually doze off in the recliner. I have been going every other Tuesday, but am starting an immunotherapy regimen which will be a half hour in the chair every three weeks. Good luck with your therapy..!!
Thanks for your very detailed post! I'm next!

Getting ready for Port. I'm scared.
I just had my port surgery yesterday. It is scary, but it's what we have to do.❤️
Carrying my wife for chemo tomorrow. She s just....okay hun....whatever you want to do...i am scrambling for information....nutritional needs...pre first chemo requirements...post first chemo requirements, diet to manage weight, transition hairstyle( she is body/image conscious so i had her cut her hair in a short style of her choosing ,got her a uniform one size smaller to factor in her current weight loss, exercises to maintain her muscle tone both upper and lower body( this slipped before my very eyes )...got resistance bands to do a couch setup close to the TV ,fridge ,bathroom and bedroom.Configuiring living to suit proximity....these are my priorities. My wife....nonchalant.....but she s my ride and die...and Remission is the word in our house...its served with EVERY MEAL!

Can I knit or crochet during treatment or will it disrupt the IV?
Yes, you can absolutely knit or crochet during treatment. We have a video on our channel where we demonstrate some of the things our patients have found helpful to bring with them. If you have any questions, your care team will be more than happy to help you out! Link to video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oKuJwdGspdbQo6Q.html

So helpful!! Be comfortable…. Although there are a small assortment of snacks & drinks available, you may want to bring a small cooler with your favorite drinks & snacks or lunch. The nurses do everything possible in premeds to keep your nausea to a minimum.
Great presentation! 😊👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
