Man, I enjoyed that... I'd sit through a feature-length version given enough popcorn and coke. Grab yourselves an Emmy, team.

for the life of me. i know you have 1000 of pack job but i literally follow this step by step. everytime i breathe or move right before putting in the freaking bag, the canopy moves and pops out. so its like how else am i suppose to control the darn thing. ive out pressure with my hands, sat on the damn thing and soon as i life the freaking canopy just half inch, there goes 10 inches of fabric out. smh. meanwhile the canopy used in this video seem to be different type of fabric because wth that thing isnt popping out. sooo soo frustrating. i didnt think packing would make me want to stop skydiving

I also noted that you NEVER laid prone on the pack job to push air out of the cocooned canopy. I think that your strategy of using a lower leg to put pressure on the pack job after you have "stripped out air" with alternating forearms is perhaps the critical part of your modus operandi. Secondarily, there was that other important point you made about sizing properly the first fold at the slider grommets somewhere in a tight range between "too big" and "too small". Everybody can appreciate that making that fold too small would be bad, but hardly anybody seems to mention that making it too large also can lead to very certain doom when the final S-fold is attempted --- hardly any of the big shots around here in MN ever make that particular point to earnest newbies floundering on the packing floor. Are beginners allowed to suffer just for the apparent enjoyment of silent, sadistic, and sideline elders ? Thanks for putting this video online.

Great information, awesome video! I recently returned at 60 and will be 63 this year, really love my 210 canopy as it does a great job for what I want for many years to come. Life is all about great experiences and having safe landings to be able to pack up and doing it all over again. It is too easy to get hurt when things go south and you aren’t prepared for it, really enjoying all your videos, keep them coming!!

The worn-out idea here that women are subjugated and that there are all these purported misconceptions and of course it’s always mostly the fault of men or misogyny is the big myth that this is all wrapped up in. It’s really irresponsible that the leading manufacturer and the USPA is perpetuating this agenda and chipping away at their credibility. In general, there are absolutely big and substantive differences between the genders(/sexes). The only responsible and reasonable position to take here is that you need to think and act solely as an individual. Group-based thinking never improves the culture of any sport. You are you. Be a skydiver, not an identitarian clown. You’ll be a lot safer and a hell of a lot more fun to be around. That’s also the only true way to be inclusive; see individuals, not group members. No one gets to stand on jump numbers or industry experience to attempt to discredit these obvious points. Let’s be above this. No one really gives damn if you’re female. Just go jump. Most females most of the time will not have the strength or reaction times of most men. No one is holding it against them. Stop pretending that’s the case.
