You gotta keep reading my brother is giving his podcast. He got it all wrong. The Europeans was the black Europeans that came over here. You read the history that white people wrote they took our land. We are the black Indians that was here here for 100,000s of years, do some research

I agree with your prospective he use the term African much to freely my ancestors are the name of there tribe if they were black ,white of brown.,I also don’t believe you have to be educated to describe the history.

But were they really african or indian from the Caribbean islands?

  • @rob_silo987

I knew I had African ancestry from my Tuscarora grandparents. My grandmas folks being "Mingo" slaves at the Westbrook plantation outside of Raleigh. I didn't know how much so I took a DNA test, and I found little bits of ancestry that did not add up. Portuguese, Eastern European Roma, Turkish. We Tuscarora know about the lost colony being absorbed into our people, but this is the first that I heard of POC from the Caribbean being left behind at Roanoke as well. Thanks for providing missing pieces of the puzzle that deserves as much spotlight as "The Lost Colony".

@@bellaklouisaevans so you're saying that the slaves from Spanish territories were not of Sub-Sahara or North Africa? "Indigenous European" in southern Spain was heavily mixed with Arab and Moores.

The transatlantic slave trade website shows that Africans brought to North America only totaled in the 8000's over the 400 years of slavery. That verifies that is not enough to justify the black population in those times. There is a concerted effort of academia to hide the fact the original indian inhabitants were negroid.

The majority of the so-called africans were- enslaved Ottoman Turks and North African Muslims, or Moors. In addition to, American indians. None were Negroid in features save the American Indians, not the Africans. Caucasians were possibly the Ottaman Turks. These Africans were not negroid.

This guy is just regurgitating what was given to him to teach by white folks there are no indigenous white people to the continents of North or South America there are no such thing as white Indians before any Europeans came to this continent there was a race of men who lived here and that race of men were dark-skinned people that's what Joe Biden and Trump both know what like every president before them have sworn some kind of oath or something to hide from the original people and their children. The Africa stuff was a made-up lie nobody was brought here from Africa they had enough people here who knew how to plant crops and to make slaves out of that were dark skin people they didn't need anyone from africa. If they did they would be African restaurants all over this continent but there aren't what you see are soul food restaurants that is the original Indian food. Enjoy your night

This was an excellent historical presentation. I would like to add my perspective from 8 years of research. My perspective is that the so-called Afrikan Americans are the American Indians. I believe I'm an example of the typical indigenous person of the Southeastern territories of America and I had 2 Cherokee great grandmothers, 1 Blackfoot/Scot-Irish and English great grandmother and 1 Scottish great grandmother. I'm also a descendant of a Scotsman that had children with a Indian woman. I was so shocked that I literally changed my racial identity from "Black" to American Indian.

My grandmother told me our tribe- was Black Hawk. I found a reference to them in a slave narrative, they had converted to Christianity, but were deceived by missionaries during a festival, were rounded up and sold into slavery. This is the only reference I have been able to find of this band. Census records reflect her as mulatto. Her mother was Black Indian and her father a former slave, not sure of his ethnicity. My ethnicity reflect all that you discussed. This history is so very complicated, thank you for this.

The evidence of a reset off history in the last 300 years should have question the slave narrative taught to us. There is plenty of evidence that shows the story is not how it is taught.
