Well done! Now, hopefully, some museum manager doesnt decide to take it apart again and leave the turret in the parking lot to be used as a kids jungle jim. Lol! Its good to see history brought back to working order. So much better than seeing just a shell sitting on display.

It was not sloped because of the besa machine gun; at the time of development, they said they couldnt work out a ballmount for the besa machine gun in sloped armor (supposedly because of the square profile of the machine gun frame). Source: Fletcher's book on the Churchill tank.

Glad you like it. I've invested in a better Smartphone recently (used for my Jagdtiger video onwards) and am hoping to visit The Tank Museum in the next few weeks to re-shoot this and some of my other earlier videos to upload far better quality versions. Interesting what you say about music; I've started to add music to some of my recent uploads to drown out background noise, like tannoy announcements and other people at the locations, plus I felt it provided a more soothing viewing experience. I'd be very interested in anyone else's view as to whether they prefer with or without the background music.
