  Make sure you scan the whole property in one scan (including all floors and any detached garage/porch). Start scanning on the lowest floor and work your way upwards. We recommend you start from the entrance but do whatever works best for the building you are scanning. Scan one floor completely before moving to the next.   I just got a plan back and the order and labeling of the plans isn’t correct. I asked for them to be corrected along with something else. The other thing I asked for was done, but I asked for the plans to be corrected but they weren’t. I tried seeing if I could change the floor labels and the order but that’s not allowed online. Is this something that can be added to the editing feature?

  Is there something different that we need to do to get the exterior views in the 3D render? My renders always come back with windows without any detail, just white. If we scan outdoor spaces, do we have to specifically ask for it to be included in the video?

  We can support if customer requested and provided enough information (pictures) via [email protected] and they are willing to wait for more. It usually takes time to do exterior rendering. And it might require extra charge for complicated cases.

  Helpful, I just wish I had learned these best practices in the app and before doing 2 scans. The instructions in the app are vague and don't mention the parts about doors or backing out of spaces, and I only saw the email with this video afterwards.

  So do you upload this to the Meta Verse? Would a buyer want to see this? A traditional 3d tour that uses photos of the property seems like a better way to sell/show a house. Does this have much demand?

  I'm wondering why you don't scan the corners of the ceiling and walls, they are much clearer, there is no furniture that gets in the way...

  Thank you for watching! While the ceiling and wall intersections may lack the items and furniture that can get in the way, there are a few reasons it's less desirable for consistent capture. One reason is the distance, as you may have greater risk of not getting close enough to critical walls to accurately capture the distance. The other is actually the lack of furniture or distinguishing features! Sometimes, when the technology has nothing to use to contextualize the space, it can be harder for it to understand where it's at. Scanning the floor gives more details that help it more easily track the location and distance.

  I believe ALL listings should include a floor plan. The floor plan of the home is one of the TOP deciding for whether the home would be a good fit for you and your family. Why not include them in every listing so buyers (and their agents) don't waste their time on a home that simply will not work for them? CubiCasa is EASY to use and fairly priced. I would much rather have this type of floor plan than a Matterport one.

  Your device should pre-select the scanning orientation automatically. Currently all iOS users scan in Portrait mode.

The same 5 minute scan is enough, no additional scanning is needed. We deliver the 3D video without any music but it should be relatively easy to add music with other tools.   looks absolutely terrible with the 24 fps. The fast panning motion is making me sea sick. maybe at 30fps it would look better.

  Do you know why when I scan I don't have the scanning lines or "Too Close" popups? My screen is just a normal video. Would love to have the grid lines if possible.

  If Safe mode is activated it will hide the “green mesh” if you are using LiDAR technology. Please, be assured that this will not affect the scan results.   ⁠@@cubicasa4133same user here. I don’t have the option to turn safe mode on and off. It’s not there in my app. The only thing I have in that place is if I want to see tips before each scan. Is there anything I can do?
