  @@blobbinabutch Ah, good to know it's useful ! I've made some small edits since your comment, such as spelling mistakes and another wordplay I had missed. From my perspective, Cadillac's writing is often rather cryptic and filled with references that not everyone might have. But I think it's safe to say a portion of it is critical on Les Enfoirés du Coeur and what they represent: a disingenuous, bourgeois part of society, preaching against poverty while they relish in their own privilege and vice behind closed curtains. (But dont' take my word on that.) The overall "carnaval" theme of the song might refer to the metaphoric masquerade of such events. Cadillac also often refers to himself as a (dead ? sullied ?) clown in various tracks. I'd love to hear other interpretations of this song, from English or French speakers !

I'm not very good with decoding lyrics, but all I can say is that it's about the situations that happen in society and the fact that no one (especially the government) dares to make a change for the better. But of course that's just my view on this song. I assume you have more knowledge about the singer/band and other situations happening in France. So my interpretation is mostly wrong.   J adore Cadillac j ai découvert avec surprise son album hier je savais pas qu il y avait une scission dans le crou. A première écoute c'est pas mal. Mais ça fait penser à une herbe qui n aurait que du thc sans cbd pour calmer le jeu... Ça rend fou ! C'est comme si on avait toute la dimension psychopathique de la menuiserie, sans king ju et MC salo pour le retenir. Pop hip doit se retourner dans sa tombe face à tant de negativity! Ils sont quand même en featuring, c'est cool, ça gravite à la perfection dans le système planétaire inquiétant du stupeflip crou, dont la mission est rappelons le de terroriser la population. J aime beaucoup des morceaux comme mécanique, la on a vraiment le Cadillac rutilant qui déchire tout, par contre il y en a qui sont pas terribles terribles, mais bon, c'est rare les album entièrement bon. Les premiers de stupeflip étaient vraiment bon
