    Dear @user-fv1ce6xf3h, as far as I know this is not possible. in some destinations you can upload fixed availabilities and prices using your my business account.     Hey 33bigmoney, the Hotel Ads are not keyword based so there is no option to exclude them. The commission is very much dependent on location and the property. for some locations a OTA commission under 18% is great, in others if you pay more then 10% you pay a lot. so also for google ads it varies.

    Hello, you need a tech provider to connect you.     I have a client who has an individual Hotel in Mexico. So, I'm confused about whether I should set up a Hotel Center account or just a Google ads account Is fine? Also to get free booking links, do I need PMS or Google partner or I could get free booking links without them?

    Hey @nanda4131, You can not just set up a Hotel Center account with out being an integration partner with Google. I would highly recommend to work with live rate and availability data. Contact the Hotels PMS, Channel Manager or Booking engine and check with them if they have a Google connection. If they do not, you can check in the Hotels my business page if in their location you can upload data manual. if not, you have no other option then finding a new provider.     Hey KYO_3153, I think it really depends. Are you very active with video content? In general youtube ads are still under utilised so I think depending on your market you can get a lot of attention for less budget. but the audience is clearly on top of the marketing funnel and not close to booking a room. I would recommend specially if you have good video content to test it with a small budget and see the engagement you can get. let us know what you find out!

    @@KYO_-yt7pk I agree the most relevant is if a travel is looking at your destination already. but on youtube ads you also have a lot of great targeting options. depending on the destination you could work with specific key words or also use video ads for retargeting visitors that came to your website before. or maybe competition based keywords. there are a lot of different options and as video ads are used less, they often come at a better click price. here some more about the targeting options: support.google.com/youtube/answer/2454017?hl=en

    Great video! I understand lowering rates to increase revenue during low occupancy periods, but how can the property avoid losing brand integrity if a 5 star hotel fills its occupancy with 2 or 3 star travel rates ? Could dynamic pricing discourage higher paying travelers from returning?

    Dear Aaron G, Thank you! It is always a balance and clearly if your discounts are getting to high you might risk you brand. It is a combination of the market, your competition, the target segments you have, reviews and reputation. To goal is clearly not for a 5 star property to price at 2 or 3 starts. But maybe if you have forecasted low occupancy periods start off early being just above the 4 start properties around and then slowly increase if reservations pick up. Really good approaches are also increasing value with out changing prices. Including amenities, creating packages, adjusting cancelation policies. This way you can get more value for your guest with out reducing the price. We have a LiveSession planed in the upcoming month about revenue management.     Dear Haresh Vazir, I know that Google is adding more features to let Hotels add inventory directly in Hotel Ads. I have not see this rolled out yet so have no experience with it. As a provider we use the Hotel Center platform and Googles APIs to upload a live feed.

    Dear Jake B, Thank you for your question! With any OTAs Partner programs you have to be very clear on what the cost is to you and how you benefit from it. If your focus is on getting more guests in to your establishment and having better occupancy. Then I think depending on the market the partner program can be a great way to get more bookings. If all Hotels in an area or destination are part of the program. All just pay higher commissions and no one gets more traffic. For the promos, the best are the once that get you new clients. I would be very careful with promotions that are all year and for all users. I think the county rates and promotions are interesting as you can use it on a market that does not book you a lot yet.     Hey Потный Ассенизатор, I don't think we can. The system from roompricegenie.com, he is referring to in the video, only gives you a high level indication it the decision is driven by the price changes in the markte or by your properties occupancy. In the end you will see if you get better results over time and again for this system you can always refuse the change. In general RMS that are more complex will not be able to let you verify every data point. But I think that is exactly the point. it the data volume would be manageable by humans we would not need the RMS. Are you working with a RMS? or what have your experiences been?

I myself am a career changer with little experience (so my "experience" is perhaps of little relevance) , but when I address our two current operators on the subject, there comes back little usable :-).

The technology to track and analyse customer traffic and behavior should be part of any booking engine tool. It has to be easy for the Hotelier to use data to make decisions if not you are always guessing.

    Hey h8GWBî, I think this really depends on the kind of Hotel and the target audience of the Hotel. For a Business Hotel where the stay is just a transaction like a flight ✈️ I completely agree with you, check in automation should be an option all the time. If im spending on a holiday for the family and want to have an experience, I dont know it the check in automation would be what im looking for. The goal should be to have a great pre stay communication before arrival and give the Guest all the options. do you agree?

    Hey Unai Becerra, The hotel center ID you get from Google. When as a technology provider you connect to Google they provide you with the hotel center and the ID. As an individual accommodation you need a tech provider to get availabilities and prices to Google.

    Dear Kevin Thomas, Im not sure if it is an alternative. I think the point is to change the role of the front desk agent. They are still there to help the guest but they do not need to be at the reception all the time they can work in an office and also take over other tasks.     Laugh tracker is the interesting device. I think hotels can improve their marketing strategies by utilising the laugh tracker, Hotels provide laugh tracker to the guest then award them with the happiest guest of the month and give some consseions or vouchers or points as the gift or reward. 😀People always like happy vacation.
