  Nice try but Amsoil is 100% synthetic oil and has 75% more wear protection than the leading industry standards .

  The fact that Valvoline has their own lab to test and formulate their oils is the reason why I trust Valvoline oil. When you have been around as long as Valvoline, you're doing it right.

  Bought a 2.4 tacoma a couple months ago with 270k very dirty inside the engine. I flushed it with half diesel half oil. Had the valve cover off as I was changing the gasket and there is no sludge but it's very dark.

  What's that tool you use (screw driver thingy) at 1:00 to remove the oil filter drain plug? Is it a Phillips-Head screw driver (it looks different)? Also, what's that plastic piece you use at 1:06 to drain oil from the filter housing? Is that a separate part you have to buy, or should it come with the new oil filter kit? Thanks!

  Try Valvoline Restore & Protect. It will remove deposits over several oil changes.

  Phosphorus is actually the component that provides protection in zddP , zinc is just the carrier

  This video did not explain or show any details or useful information. The one “clean” connecting rod bearing had serious galling on it. Was that piston supposed to represent what valvoline does to rod bearings?

  I have an 09 yaris with 240000 miles and switched to this oil. Cannot be happiesr. Runs smoother and quieter. I can tell a difference!
