  Hello that’s nice thank you so much. I added this to the Banner section of my page and it really worked. However, I copied and pasted this video banner because I wanted to use it in other parts of my homepage. But I encounter an error like this: Since this works as a banner, it shows half of my other video. However, the height of my video is longer. And it only shows the head of the woman in my video :) For this reason, I try to write special code in the CSS part of the theme template, but it never works. How can I do that?

  Welcome! The video is a background and the code I provided in section-video-banner has different css for different sizes. You could probably playround with that. You have any knowledge of CSS?   @@Webmyster I noticed when I change the text color in the video banner section to be white, the header menu text will change to white too. They should not be connected since they are two different sections. I also noticed that I can't seem to change the text color of the detail text box in the video banner section. I want it to be white too to match header color, but it just only shows gray and I can't find out where to make adjustments. Thank you for your help

  I see, I named the asset "section-video-banner.css" instead of leaving off the ".css", as it already adds that extension.

  Not sure if you're still answering questions but I'm having an issue switching between mobile and desktop. I followed all the steps but the video is zoomed in when on desktop but showing all when on mobile. The video has a 4x3 dimension, set on medium sizing on shopify, and i've already made sure all the code is adjusted for "medium" sizing. Did I miss something?

  Wanted to clarify something based on the comments below. Some people are expecting that they will see some fields under variants. You will either not see any fields or if there are fields there that you did not add, those were probably added by some app you installed. So in order show whatever data you want to show on the product variant, you will have to add that field yourself to the variants. In my case I added TestVariantField, TestVariantField2 and VariantDetailsUrl. And then you can see in the code I am using those same fields. So which ever field you add, you will have to change the code to get that field data to show. Hopefully this clears up some the confustion around that. And also Metafields has been renamed to "Custom data" in the settings menu. You can also refer to this blog post on my website: www.shopifywebmyster.com/add-metafields-to-variants-in-shopify/

I have the height right but I can't seem to get rid of the gray on both sides of the video for mobile view. It works great for desktop. Do you have any tips? Thank you!

  Hi, I recently added thesliding effect to the multicolumn section of the dawn theme. The result for the section ended up being what I wanted, however now the whole page slides and creates a very annoying effect when scrolling on mobiles. Does anyone know how I can remove the sliding except for the multicolumn section? Thank you very much for your help!!

  Hi there! I just watched and completed the changes in "How To Add Video Without KZread and Vimeo on Shopify Dawn Theme" and now I've completed this video instructions. My metafield is setup and the URL box appears at the bottom of my product pages. I've copied the Shopify URL, pasted, and nothing shows on my product pages. I've gone through every step in the video 10x and can't find anything I missed. Please help 🙏

  What do you mean by "email host?". I have a domain that was purchased from go daddy but I changed the name servers to my hosting company. If I create an email address from this hosting company, doesn't it become useless when Shopify takes over?
