I have a briefcase Cree patch with the N and o a little further apart than most authentic ones. It appears to be a knock off or faux bag. Am I wrong?
I got some acrylic plastic display boxes. Is it okay to store the bags in those boxes?
I would say that as long as they are not air tight (leather needs to be able to breathe) and you're keeping them out of direct sunlight, they should be fine in acrylic display boxes. Great way to keep the dust off while still being able to have them on display 😊
Older bag number is 439 then the dash you never said anything about vintage number before 1994
Before 1994, Coach bags had actual serial numbers which means each individual bag had its own unique series of numbers and therefore the numbers do not tell you anything about the bag like the post-1994 style numbers and time codes.
I just received a West pack from a coach outlet here in Seattle. And you were very helpful luckily. Was what I have? I'm going to think it's real. Lol Mine says it was made in the Philippines. I didn't quite get what you said about that. And I do see the c in the number that you're talking about. But that stands for an outlet, right? I'm so sorry 😂 Thank you very much!! Also, might you be able to tell me what this is? I received a little piece of leather, a very tiny strip with glue on the back. I don't know what that is. Is that for repair, or is that extra clippings from a fake 😂
So glad the video was helpful! If you bought the bag at an official Coach store (whether retail or outlet), the bag should definitely be authentic. Lots of genuine Coach bags are made in the Philippines so nothing to worry about there. If there is an F in front of the style number, it means made for the outlet store but I don't think they use that format anymore. The C is not an indicator of an outlet bag, it is just a new format they've made. No one knows exactly what the C stands for (not even Coach employees lol). I don't know about the little leather strip with glue on the back, I've never seen that with a Coach bag before. Does it match the material of the bag? And where did you find it?

I bought the same exact bag on Ebay and the first time I wore the hangtag fell off and so did some of the tea roses. When I politely asked the seller about where the bag was originally purchased so I can take it in to possibly get it repaired she blocked me instead of helping me resolve the issue without any further communication. Then I took my chances again and second time I wore some more tea roses fell off. So disappointing, this is the cutest bag and I'm devastated, it was expensive. Hopefully no one else had a bad experience like mine. My bag also has a terrible smell, like manure.
I'm so sorry to hear you had such a bad experience. Usually you can take the bag to a Coach store for a repair, but I'm not sure how much they charge. I've owned two of these exact bags now and I've never had an issue with them, they've been really nice quality, but maybe you got one with some factory defaults. It definitely shouldn't be falling apart. I will say, these specific bags do tend to have a distinct smell due to the type of leather they use.
Out of curiosity, why get multiples in different sizes?
Back in my the days I would have choosen the biggest carry all bag now days I would choose the smaller cute red handle one.

Great info! I just bought a vintage saddle bag which code says D7M and made in the USA. Got a bit curious so here I am. Do you happen to know anything about the white creed on their 65th anniversary Legacy editions? Someone said the white creed patches were on the British Tan while the brown ones are for the Whiskey colour. Is this true? Thank you!
So glad it was helpful! I'm not familiar with that particular style or the details of the creed patch on them so I can't help you with that one I'm afraid. But you do often see the creed patch be different colors to match the bag in one way or another on the older styles, so it very well may be that one color bag had one color creed patch and another color bag had another color creed patch. I can't say if your specific bag is real or fake without seeing it, but there are in fact some Prada bags made in China. If you bought it directly from the official Prada shop, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

I put all my bags in their dust bags. However, they end up stacked on each other. I need a new idea.

So “i” will never be used? Is that right?
They don't use the letter "i" to signify a month in the date code. I don't know if it could be found in another position but I don't think I've ever seen it and seeing as it could be confused with the number 1, I wouldn't think they would use it.
Maybe C is for Carryall? 🤔
It seems like they are putting the C on all styles of bags, but good guess! I'm starting to think it was just their way of starting over on a system so they won't be reusing old style numbers. Or maybe just to make it difficult for us! 😆

I had this prada bag inside and same R with the original bag you've shown. My friends told me that it is fake because the letter R it should be the same as what you've shown in the fake one. I am a bit off because they judge it because of the letter R inside... When it fact, the one who gave me is a very legit buyer of original Prada. She bought it in Prada store in London. They tried to use NFC tools but cannot verify unlike the other bag brands
It is always so hard with these brands and with the information available online. Everyone likes to make up strict rules to make it easy to say real or fake, but at the end of the day, most of these brands have many exceptions to the rules and this is what makes authentication really difficult for some bags and also why some genuine bags get marked as fake because it doesn't match the authentication guides completely.
It's hard to understand what you're saying at the end.

You're amazing, that's my first comment on youtube videos! I have a small business selling designer bags but they come without boxes, should i use a plain box or customize a box with my logo?

I'll check it out 🤗 Branding is of course important for a business and I think it's a very nice detail to have customized boxes - it strengthens brand recognition and makes your brand look more professional and established. The one thing I will say is be mindful of where you place the branding. Rather than having it on the outside, have it on the inside of the box. The last thing you want is for your package to be stolen because branding on the outside tells every person who sees it that it holds valuable items. For example if people see the Louis Vuitton logo or if your brand/store name includes words like "designer" or "luxury" and is printed on the box, they will most likely assume there are valuable things inside. So make sure the branding is on the inside of the box - the best placement would be under the "lid" like Coach does so that it's the first thing you see when you open the box. We shouldn't have to worry about these things but unfortunately parcel theft is a real problem so you might as well be on the safe side. I will also say, depending on how far along you are in your business, you don't NEED to have customized boxes, it's just a nice touch. I generally use plain boxes as I like to reuse boxes that I receive bags in as long as they're in good condition. It saves on waste and makes my shipping expenses lower. I hope that helps! You can't authenticate a Coach bag just from the number, but that format doesn't look quite right.

That is a terrible dupe. I compared my real Prada Double Handbag along with yours as I watched your video. lol!!So many differences! I also noticed the lower emblem on your front Prada triangle logo is upside down!!! You didn't even notice that, and I did as soon as my eyes hit it! Lol!

I hope you see this today 🙈my question is someone is selling a AM clutch it has a serial no inside. But when I googled it another handbag came up actually one in your video. (Viking one) But the clutch she is selling is different. It’s grey floral and has a skull with a crown . Hi, I got dustbags from Amazon. After I stored my handbags in them, the dustbag seemed so cold and sticky to touch. Is this a normal thing? I got cotton dustbags btw
That sounds very strange. Depending on what dustbags you bought, I guess they could have been treated with something. Maybe give them a wash before using again. Also, make sure the room you store your bags in is not damp.

Unfortunately a dustbag can't protect your bag from humidity, regardless of the type. The best thing would be if you could store them in a room that has good ventilation.
I have a pink sparkly fabric with 'C's all over duffle style about the same size like your snakeskin that is also marked with an N...No D2J 1862 that has no other tags, but a heavy metal keychain and the creed patch. Is it possible that this is a mystery sample. Someone told me it was fake.
