My husband went to Walmart and purchased 2 of these My Mini Noodle Cookers. 1 for our MOTORCOACH and 1 for our CONVERSION VAN. I had a Silicone skillet handle sleeve for use with LODGE CAST IRON, tried it on the pot handle of tge My Mini and it fits really well. You do need to hold it firmly since the MY MINI POT'S HANDLE IS INSIDE OF THE LODGE SILICONE HANDLE SLEEVE. YOU CAN FEEL WHERE THE MY MINI HANDLE IS INSIDE OF THE SLEEVE... IMPORTANT TO HOLD ONTO IT THERE! Doing it makes it much less likely to burn your fingertips when using the handle. Also, the SOLO STOVE 900 POT fits perfectly on the Grill Plate of the Cooker. More volume for more cooking options! Love ❤ these little Mini appliances, ESPECIALLY this cooker!

Hello, again my friend. Well, that is very clever. I see that you have been busy since last time when I mentioned that you should do a video that shows how you modified the CX405 lens so that you can attach lens filters over the lens. I have never tried to use my cell phone to record the audio. It sounds good. Do a video on how to do that. Or by using any other external recording device. I have a pretty good idea of how to do it. I have the app for recording on my phone. I think as you shoot start the phone recorder and record the desired sound. Then in editing drop the video and phone recording on the editing tracks. Take out the sound for the video by turning the volume off using the controls in the edit and turn the volume on the phone track up, using the controls in the editor, sync them. But still. You should make a video about it. A lot of people would like to know how to do that.

At the end of the first portion of this video their is a message that tells you how to run the CX405 camcorder using an external power source such as an USB Battery to run the camcorder for a very long time. You can also use a "Power Bank" phone charger by connecting the power cable mounted on the side of the camcorder to the "Power Bank" using the supplied cables that come with the camcorder. I have recorded and continue to record and use this method to record 8hrs. with no problem. I just put the "Power Bank" in a little pouch or fannie pouch and hang it on the side of the tripod or if i am hand shooting I just put the fannie pouch on with the "Power Bank" in it or I will put the "Power Bank" in my front or rear pocket. You can get a good "Power Bank" for $20.00 at any store that carry them.

Good idea to use a 49mm UV to protect the lens, even if you go nowhere near the sea the open/close shutter cover on these cameras is not great & dust will get through wherever you are.. but you should do this as soon as possible and epoxying a step-up ring onto your new camcorder will kill the warranty! A better way of doing it is to get a cheap 49mm filter & remove the glass.. the filter ring should be tight push-fit onto the front (may need to file inside of filter slightly or maybe not), allowing you to use 49mm filters without invalidating your warranty.
