I very much enjoyed your production of 'Route 66: Return to the Road with Marin Milner'. You all did a GREAT job! I realize that you had budget constraints and had to use a Corvette that was not particularly mechanically reliable. Marin was the key centre -stone of the original series AND also made your production just as excellent. One could tell that Martin Milner was a good, caring and unselfish guy by his life's choices. Instead of accepting a new Corvette from GM, back during production of the original series, he asked for a Chevy station wagon instead for use as he had his wife and children with him often on the sets which were done on locations all around the US and Canada. Back then, the 'route 66" TV series production had two, four-car haulers, one of which carried four brand-new Corvettes. You guys made do with only one, very used-up one!!! (WAY TO GO). Born in 1950, I loved route 66. Early on, it fired up in me a love of cars which drove me to working at menial, physically demanding jobs which in turn gave me a work history and eventually culmlated in a job at GM, Oshawa ON Plant #1. I've long since retired, travelled Route 66 many times and, as I worked and saved money, actually drove my restored C-1's and 2's on Route 66. Due to my age and health (two replaced hips 7 years ago), I sold them and now have a Mustang convertible, automatic of course, and a couple of 'grocery-getter Mazda-3 four-doors for our two dogs, wife, daughter and grandaughter with a another grandson on-the-way next June. I love anything that furthers my love of 'the road'.

poi!!! so inspiring. I love that I am seeing alot of my generation in the hobby. I often feel like in Canada, it is a dying hobby/passion because it is something that you have to dedicate at least two hours a day to, depending on how big your loft is. The younger generation is bent on instant gratification, and in this sport there is alot of patience needed. For me, I train and fly my birds, but do not race them. I spend more time with them than I do with people.
