This song is based on the convicted serial killer Jack Unterweger. He became a famous author and celebrity after his release from prison. They thought he was reformed but he continued his killing. He wrote the story about the sandman and had a popular children’s show. True evil.

I know...laaate to the reaction party ...and it's probably been mentioned here somewhere else, but I think it's important to note that they got consent from her or them to use their story.... and people don't always notice but... no fire/firework display here... not that the song needs it at all, but I feel like that is in deference to their story ... I was ashamed at first as well when listening to songs that were heavy (e.g. like this song) but sounded so cool but over the years I have learned just how..hehe..- important it is to look at the hard stuff, hear the hard stuff.... the hard stuff is the important stuff - Nothing was ever gained by ignoring, hiding and/or denying it .....I truly believe it is fundamental TO observe these things ...that are hard to think about and, talk about in civil company .... Only then can we begin to try to understand how these things could happen in the first place and the motivations behind it....aaagh sry, rant over ! 😄 Anyway .. love your reactions ! TILL is a musical genius…. and his artistic expression and performance art on stage and in videos is unmatched!! I have never seen Lindemann in concert but Rammstein is the best rock show in the entire world it’s an outer body experience…he is the Van Gogh of this century And will be remembered long after he is gone💔.. The basic set up of the band consist of 5 members. Lead vocal. 2 lead guitars. Bass. Percussion. During the time, the personnels are being reshuffled, for many reasons. The very first member / founder of the band, Kai Hansen, previously was the Lead Vocal + Lead Guitar, but as the progress of the band with sophisticated composition, he gave up to sing while guitaring. So the band recruited a young 18 y.o. vocalist, Michael Kiske. But, then Kai left the band instead. Lately, Michael Kiske also being fired due to musical preference. And Andi Deris replaced as the Lead Vocal. Around 2013, Weiky met Kiske and tried to make a conversation, so that they can forgive each other of the past conflict. Then, for a couple years, they arrange for REUNION, so that they released "Pumpkin United" single. And lately, they (Kai and Kiske) become members again, so that the band has 3 Lead Vocals and 3 Lead Guitars. CMIIW

Nina Hagen has a reach of 7 octaves. It's said she had opera training but i can't recall her mentioning that in her awesome book 'Ich bin ein Berliner. But she could sing opera no problem hands down kick Maria Callas' ass. I love her music but she's completely mental (in a fun way).

The location for this video was the Belitz sanatorium near Berlin (built 1905-1907). This was a neurological clinic for tuberculosis patients in Eastern Germany, which was later used by the Russians as a military base. Today the large site and its buildings are empty and are often used as a filming location for TV and music productions! There were many sanitary facilities in the buildings, including clinical bathrooms that were used by patients. This explains the depression in the ground that can be seen in the video.
