  I found on mine and here's what I do. Remove the magazine and make sure there is no live rounds loaded. Now that I know the weapon is clear I closed the bolt to the first notch then pull the trigger. The bolt will drop by its own into the lock position and no tension will be on the firing pin spring.

  Recommend you put the stock off to the side while cleaning the weapon. You loose some of your camera view of your demonstration. Very good instructions.

  Just stumbled on your video, also in iowa, asked my local ffl who has talked to the atf and knows iowa laws well, seems to be your can’t ship them into iowa you can buy one in the state or you can go buy one in a location out of state and bring your property into the state and legally own and use just can’t ship one into iowa
