Yea I still have the X5 and still have the M performance Exhaust. I would get it asap because it really does make a difference in the driving experience. Check bmw x5 forums there are some owners who trade in their X5’s and sell them online.

Update: Received the GT back with an updated firmware 6071 and the board is working perfectly now!

I don’t know the legality of this exhaust but… the beauty of this is that it is so easy to install and uninstall that you can just remove it and put the original exhaust back on for inspection.

Hey Nam, I have a 17 x5 35i, exact same setup, mppk and mpe but I don’t get the pops like you do, I only get crackle/burble sounds when revs are decreasing. Am I doing something wrong here.... when you cold start and rev, do you put in sport mode or sport+? What rpm did you rev to for that pop sound to happen? Thanks for reading my message.

Yes put it in sport mode immediately after you turn on the engine and rev it right away like I did in this video clip
