Hey guys,
I'm Albert and I play bass. Maybe I'm not a super pro, but I love to play and usually I can't help feeling quite enthusiastic while doing it, which is kinda explains my channel's name :) Please excuse my making faces or headbanging during the songs, because I rarely can play while standing still.
I use this channel as a learning tool, because learning and playing songs is a good way to actually learn something.
What also makes this channel different from many other cover channels out there is that I really try to cover the songs nobody has ever covered on KZread.
I'll try to publish a new cover every week.

The copyright holder is probably railroading it. Happens with The Eagles all the time.
It happened with my recent D-A-D cover. I just started a dispute and in a month the video was finally published.
Could you imagine if someone other than Gene played bass for KISS? They never would have become as iconic IMHO. They really had the perfect musicians for the group, and when new members joined the band, it just didn't sound the same from the writing to the production to the performance. The original 4 ARE KISS in my book.
That's right! In my opinion, it's damn hard to replace Ace and impossible to replace Gene. He had his unique melodic way of making parts... He's by far my fav bass player.

Клевый концерт. Йохан тут бодрячком) Был на их концерте в Москве в 18 году. Тиамат люблю с 12-ти лет, сейчас мне 27 стукнет. Причем я из разряда фанатов, который любит и Treblinka, и Lucyfire. Йохан и его творчество помогли мне пережить потерю двух близких людей. Трудно выделить какой-либо альбом, ибо каждый как страничка отдельной истории: люто богохульничал как на Sumerian Cry; искал и оплакивал Sleeping beauty на Clouds; путешествовал и гнался за змеем в Deepest Kind of Slumber; готировал в Skeleton’e и т.д На конце в Москве беседовал с их тогдашним гитаристом по поводу их жизни в группе - чувак оказался очень общительным и приветливым. Дословно, по его словам: Йохан человек настроения и вся его жизнь по сути это творчество, даже если он не пишет музыку. Сам Йохан, правда, на конце был не особенно трезв, но сет из Clouds и Wildhoney+ позднее творчество запомнилось очень хорошо. На “Cain” - народ уже изрядно развеселился - круто, в общем. Барабанщик руку пожал на прощание)) В общем, Hail Tiamat и Long Live Jöhan!
Хех, молодёжь.=)Тиамат полюбил тоже с 12-ти лет,когда вышел Clouds.Потом у меня появились усики-пропуск в трусики,и вышел Wildhoney!Для меня это был просто нейрокосмический пропуск в трансцендентальную реальность!На меня-пиздюка это произвело ТАКОЕ впечатление,шо я до сих пор считаю этот альбом самым любимым для себя не только Тиамата,а вообще. Какие у них клипы были потрясающие!Это лучшее,что могли создать участники группы!Соляк на Гайу до сих пор пытаются сыграть,но ни у кого не получается.Потом вышел A deeper kin of slumber ,- тоже охуевший альбом. Там Йохан на отходняках от наркозависимости запилил годную музыку.Потом вышел Секелетрон непонятный,и я перестал за ними следить....По поводу живых выступлений.Очень грустно их смотреть последние годы.Достойных музыкантов в группе нет,поёт отвратительно своим этим ебучим низким вокалом,даже в классических песнях Мёда.Да и вообще делает всё на отъебись.Ещё и шапочку с кисточкой надел.Совсем ёбнулся,походу.Грусть! А ведь есть лайвы ТЕХ времён,где Wildhoney играли,там просто жир!А не вот это вот всё...

No BS-fills, pick & (mostly) downstrokes - totally a must here❗️There’s a bit of a fishy spot around 5:02, guess you had a slip and fixed it … but hey, that is legit!

Well, to be 100% honest, I've played bass before in the end of the 90's a little. Then I stopped, life happened, you know. And about 5 years ago I just decided to try again and I created this channel to motivate myself. My wife bought me this Jackson bass as a gift and it took me 2 months to play "Balls To The Wall" good enough to make this video. At the same time I was taking lessons from a local teacher. However, of course I didn't have to learn how to hold a pick or how to hold my left hand again, I already knew that :) So I didn't have to start from an absolute zero.

Никогда не понимал, чего там прям готик-рок то? Поменяй мысленно вокалиста на Билли Айдола, и вот эта же Слипин Май Дэй на ура заедет после ВайтВеддинг, и никто ничего не заметит =) Но при этом не помню, чтобы Айдола кто-то считал готик-роком. С другой стороны, поди еще отличи пост-панк от готик-рока. Разве что по одежде музыкантов =))))
Пост-панк обычно очень минорный и про всё тлен, а готик-рок вполне может быть и мажорным. Но да, грань там почти несуществующая, имхо :) Олды конечно находят чёткую разницу.
@@BassVSZombies Мне кажется, тут больше наследственное, то есть смотря откуда коллектив пришел. Такая же петрушка на границе панк/трэш, как мне кажется. Какой-нибудь Эксплоитед «Бит зэ бастрадс», если без бэкграунда, нифига никакой не панк в том смысле, какими были Пистолз. Однако ж панки по корням.
Ну да. Конкретно эту группу некуда отнести. Послушай альбом - там часть таких вот песен, которые вполне можно поставить в один ряд с Sisters Of Mercy, а часть - блюз'н'глэм а-ля зрелые Aerosmith. Возможно, поэтому и не очень выстрелили, потому что так и не решили, кем хотят стать когда вырастут :)

Thank you! Yes, I'll try to do more Alice in the future and I'll surely look into "Muscle Of Love". It's actually amazing how little attention Alice gets from the guys who write tabs. I mean how many times you can cover "Poison" over and over again? :) It's like one of the least interesting songs in his discography...
