The cuckoo trying to kill off a nest of birds is simply no different from other predator trying to kill them anyways. Doesn't make much sense that the birds would still allow cuckoos parasite them like predators instead of persisting to adapt better self defense.

In the ocean's depths, where shadows dwell, Lies a creature with tales to tell. The sea cucumber, strange and profound, With its anus, a legend renowned. Sea cucumbers are assholes. Literally so, With their versatile anus, they steal the show. From locomotion to reproduction, they excel, Their butthole's prowess, a mesmerizing spell. Now let's delve deeper into this anal array, And explore the wonders it displays. First, locomotion, a marvel so bold, Their anus propels them, through waters cold. Through contractions and expansions, they glide, Across the seabed, with grace as their guide. Their anus, a motor, a beacon of light, In the vast ocean depths, it shines so bright. Reproduction, too, is a feat they achieve, Their anus serves as the gateway to conceive. With spawning events, they dance and they sway, Their butthole facilitating life's grand display. But wait, there's more to this anal saga, Eating and breathing, a double-edged saga. Their anus doubles as a feeding tube, Sucking up nutrients, like a culinary rube. Detritus, plankton, and sediment too, They ingest through their anus, it's what they do. Filtering and feasting, with precision and might, Their butthole's versatility, a wondrous sight. Now onto respiration, a breath-taking tale, They breathe through their butt, without fail. Absorbing oxygen, from the water they're in, Their anus, the gateway, to life's oxygen spin. Excretion, of course, is another task, Their anus removes waste, with grace and class. Expelling what's not needed, with ease, Keeping their insides clean, if you please. So here's to the sea cucumber's rear end, A marvel of nature, a true godsend. In the depths of the ocean, they thrive, With their multifaceted anus, they jive. With every move, their anus leads the way, A Swiss army of the sea, quite the display. Their whole existence revolves around that gateway, In the ocean's embrace, they forever stay.

The slime mold knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the slime mold from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't. In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the slime mold is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the slime mold must also know where it was. The slime mold guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the slime mold has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where it should be from where it wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was, it is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error.
