Just curious, I know that 80 weight oil is commonly used for the transmissions on these two strokes, such as Bel-Ray, Motul 80w etc. However I have wondered for some time why ATF fluid would not be just as good if not better? I can just assume that possibly the clutch simply wouldn't works as well? Curious of your thoughts on this.
@RDEnduro11 күн бұрын
I really agree with you on this one! Especially for adventure riding when you start to feel far from home its nice knowing your bike wont let you down. My old Yamaha would still run even without the battery installed

I had 3 of these and they all developed base knobby cracks way too soon. I went to the Dunlop AT81EX (gummy) and this tire has not cracked and really lasts a long time. Saving $25 on a tire isn't saving if you have to change it 3x as often.

Seems great. You are prob just used to the bigger stihl power. Bigger saws you can man handle and they will take it. Aggressive teeth are great for me. Smaller saws Just need to allow the rpm’s to get up. Lighten the pressure. Won’t be as fast of a cut as bigger saw but your saw will thank you. Saws won’t cut if they can’t rotate. I just ordered one now for my dirt bike. I don’t want the front mount as I have a light and don’t want to loose it for the saw.

I tried the GT216 80/100 for about 20kms and threw it in the bin. You get some turning advantage but it deflects terribly on any roots or hard pack edges. The MX32 pirelli and even a mitas mx 90/90 will absorb way better and still turn well. Going to try the ST Maxxis front too as have been surprised by rear. M59 seemed pretty good on the kato's, but outside knobs aren't super aggressive so i avoid bridgestone in general. Even mx33 is leagues ahead for bump absorbtion than the GT.
